For many tracks a day with 2 graded stakes would be the pinnacle of the season. At Saratoga it is just another Saturday. They run the Diana and the Sanford on the card.

• #5 NORTH POLE (3-1) gets the top selection. He has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.
• #7 MISTICAL CURLIN (8-1) feels like a fringe contender in this spot. He shouldn't have trouble with the 1 mile distance. This one should be in the right spot to be in with a chance late.
• #2 READYSEEKGO (10-1) isn't without hope. He is well bred for this spot. This one has the perfect run style for this type of race and may just get the perfect trip here.
• #1 NEVER CHANGE (5-2) is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. He has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here. I am very hesitant to trust maiden claiming favorites unless they truly look the best of the bunch.

• #1 CLOSING DEALS (4-1) could be in with a shot in this race. She makes sense on speed figures. This one has the top overall power rating in the group.
• #4 QUICK MUNNY (3-1) is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. She may get the absolute dream flow of the race in this spot.

• #4 EAGLE IN LOVE (5-1) isn't without hope. He should be in the right spot to be in with a chance late.
• #1 RED REVOLUTION (8-1) is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. He goes out for the Falcone barn and gets Carmouche in the irons. This one could get a nice race flow and add value to the tickets.
