Derby prep season takes a break this weekend, but there is still plenty of action this weekend. Saturday at Gulfstream Park features a pair of sprint stakes.

• #10 STORMY VICTORY (3-1) should be sitting in the second tier of runners and looking to make one well timed run at the leaders. This one has to be respected going out for the combination of Depaulo and Ortiz.
• #2 HOLLYWOODHELLRAISR (6-1) shouldn't have trouble with the 1 1/16 mile distance. This one projects to sit mid pack and come with one run.
• #8 GOOD SOLDIER (7-2) should be competitive in this spot. He looks to be the class of the field.
• #4 SIR SAMUEL (4-1) feels like a fringe contender in this spot and wouldn’t be surprising here.

• #3 VIGIL ANNA (7-2) appears to be a major player in this race. She comes into the race in really good form. This one seems to fit well enough here.
• #9 JUNO SEA (8-1) has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here.
• #7 FOR EVER OURS (6-1) makes sense on speed figures. This one has to be respected going out for the combination of Barboza and Ortiz.

• #2 ARCANGELO (9-2) could be a dangerous threat to get loose on the front end.
• #4 MAGICAL POWER (2-1) debuts here has to be respected going out for the combination of Pletcher and Ortiz.
• #1 NEUTRAL (4-1) is the other first time starter for Todd Pletcher. This one gets Saez with the leg up.
