Laurel Park closes out their racing weekend with a swift 9 race card. The card is a return to the bread and butter of Maryland track featuring a lot of claiming races.
Sunday Full Card Analysis
Laurel Park- Race 1
Post: 12:40 PM ET; $28k Claiming going 1 mile on turf; Entries: 10
- #9 EXPRESS PHAROAH (7-2) gets the top selection. He has the top overall power rating in the group. This one has to be respected going out for the combination of Barboza and Ruiz.
- #8 PRINCE OF CAPS (6-1) should be competitive in this spot. He has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts. This one goes out for Gonzalez with Barbosa aboard.
- #4 SEVILLE ROW (6-1) should be competitive in this spot. He goes out for the Merryman barn and gets Rodriguez in the irons.
- #10 READY REWARD (5-1) should be competitive in this spot. He goes out for the Dowling barn and will be ridden by Carrasco. This one will likely be in the first flight of runners and should be in with a chance late.
Selections: 9 – 8 – 4 – 10
Laurel Park- Race 2
Post: 1:11 PM ET; $52k Maiden Special Weight going 7 furlongs on dirt; Entries: 6
- #5 GENERAL J R (2-1) is the top pick. He has to be respected going out for the combination of Robb and Olmo.
- #6 COMPLETED STORM (8-1) appears to be a major player in this race. He could be a dangerous threat to get loose on the front end.
- #1 QUINCY CAFE (5-2) should be competitive in this spot. He has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts. This one should be sitting in the second tier of runners and looking to make one well timed run at the leaders.
- #3 TALL ORDER (3-1) should be involved in this race. This one has the pedigree to be a major player in this spot.

Laurel Park- Race 3
Post: 1:46 PM ET; $52k Maiden Special Weight going 5 1/2 furlongs on turf; Entries: 9
- #8 POINT WELL TAKEN (5-2) looks best here. She has races good enough to beat this group. This one has to be respected going out for the combination of Mcgaughey and Boyce.
- #6 SHE'S LIKE THUNDER (8-1) appears to be a major player in this race. She has races that fit here. This one should be sitting in the second tier of runners and looking to make one well timed run at the leaders.
- #1 PRINCESS PITA (5-1) debuts here and makes some sense in this spot. She goes out for the Motion barn and gets Ruiz in the irons.
- #5 WINKED (6-1) wouldn’t be a surprise at a solid price. She has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.

Laurel Park- Race 4
Post: 2:19 PM ET; $26k Starter Allowance going about 1 1/16 miles on dirt; Entries: 6
- #6 IT'S GAME TIME (7-5) gets the top selection. He has races that make him a player. This one has the top overall power rating in the group.
- #4 KRACHENWAGEN (9-5) should be competitive in this spot. He has really consistent pace figures which should work well in a moderately paced race. This one has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here.
- #1 GHOST STALKER (6-1) isn't without hope. He makes sense on speed figures.
- #2 LOST MY VOWCHER (9-2) seems to have a bit of a shot here. He has to be respected going out for the combination of Farrior and Toledo.
Selections: 6 – 4 – 1 – 2
Laurel Park- Race 5
Post: 2:52 PM ET; $29k Maiden Claiming going 1 1/8 miles on turf; Entries: 10
- #9 CAPTAIN QUINT (8-1) is the top pick. He makes sense on speed figures. This one has tactical speed and can sit just off the leaders for a stalk and pounce trip.
- #1 BROWN DELIVERS (8-5) appears to be a major player in this race. He seems to fit well enough here. This one runs evenly and looks to get a very fair pace scenario here.
- #10 HEY BOSS (6-1) appears to be a major player in this race. He has races that absolutely figure here. This one should be sitting in the second tier of runners and looking to make one well timed run at the leaders.
- #4 NIGHT BOSS (8-1) appears to be a major player in this race. He has to be given respect going out for the combination of Farrior and Toledo.

- #5 MI CLEOPATRA AND I (9-2) should be a player in this spot. She seems to fit well enough here.
- #1 UNREQUITED LOVE (7-2) could be in with a shot in this race. She shouldn't have trouble with the 5 1/2 furlong distance.

- #4 SOULMATE (4-1) gets the top selection. He has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here.
- #2 MEGAYACHT (5-2) appears to be a major player in this race. He has been in really good form recently. This one has to be respected going out for the combination of Clement and Carrasco.
- #1 AUDACIOUS QUALITY (3-1) should be competitive in this spot. He has the top overall power rating in the group. This one has solid early pace figures in a race that looks to lack a ton of front running speed.
- #7 BROKER'S REWARD (5-1) could be in with a shot in this race. He will likely be in the first flight of runners and should be in with a chance late. This one has early pace and should be involved in the early pace scenario.

- #5 PEACHY WEACHY (9-2) appears to be a major player in this race. She could be a dangerous threat to get loose on the front end. This one has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.
- #1 TEXIAN (4-1) appears to be a major player in this race. She has solid early pace figures in a race that looks to lack a ton of front running speed. This one can handle the unique 7 furlong distance.
- #3 CHARMING WAY (2-1) should be competitive in this spot. She seems to fit well enough here on class.

Laurel Park- Race 9

- #9 MARY JANE CHROME (2-1) looks best here. She shouldn't have trouble with the 1 mile distance. This one will likely have a lot to do in the lane, but could get up with a competitive run.
- #8 SURREAL FANTASY (9-2) could be in with a shot in this race. She should be part of the early pace in this spot. This one could be a dangerous threat to get loose on the front end.
- #6 GOLDEN EFFECT (3-1) could be in with a shot in this race. She has races good enough to beat this group.
- #2 EISWEIN (10-1) is a price horse and is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. She makes sense on speed figures. This one projects to sit mid pack and come with one run.
