• #5 ELUSIVE AMELIA (3-1) is worth a look here given edges in connections & form.
• #4 LEAN ON E (4-1) has speed figures to be competitive in this group.
• #7 TILSA (6-1) could get a solid pace setup in this spot.

• #5 KID D'ORO (4-1) should be in the right spot early to give this horse a chance to get the job done.
• #2 PNUTBUTTER SPECIAL (5-1) looks to have to have kept the best company in the previous starts.
• #1 BIG CITY BOB (6-1) is worth a look here given the connections.

• #2 MIDTOWN ROSE (7-2) makes sense in this spot. The horse is in great form and classes up well.
• #3 ATINA SALSA (3-1) is worth a look here given edges in stamina & power rating.
• #6 WORLD GONE WILD (5-1) has to be respected based on the connections.
• #1 LOVE ON FIRE (4-1) is a major player based on speed figures.

• #2 SHEZ A DOUBLETAKE (2-1) has speed and pace numbers to best this field. That being said this is a maiden claiming race and those figures can often be unreliable.
• #4 IMAGINARY SKY (5-2) looks to have to have kept the best company in the previous starts.
• #8 FLY FLY BIRD (6-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's connections & breeding.
• #6 LUNA FORTUNA (9-2) is another runner that should be forward early. In these types of races that can often be the greatest recipe for success.

• #1 DILLY DILLY PHILLY (2-1) will be on the engine from the start and goes out for top flight connections.
• #8 FLASHING DIAMOND (3-1) is a major player in today's race edging the field in several key handicapping factors including speed & power rating.
• #7 BACK CHANNEL (5-1) is proven as a good bet to at least hit the board under today's distance and surface conditions.
• #6 ALWAYS TALKING (4-1) has the ability to take advantage of today’s pace scenario.

• #1 RUBY BLEU (2-1) looks to have to have kept the best company in the previous starts.
• #2 COLONEL JUAN (4-1) is worth a look here given edges in record at the distance & form.
• #7 ROAN MOUNTAIN (3-1) should be competitive today based on the horse's speed & power rating.
• #3 DIVINE MIRACLE (5-1) will definitely look to find the front early. The question will be if this one can carry that early speed the mile and 1/16th distance.

• #1 GRIT'N'GRIND (4-1) should be competitive today based on the horse's speed. The barn is reliable and that helps as well. This one probably isn’t the most likely winner on the card, but the price offers value. This one will be my best bet of the day.
• #12 WAGON BOSS (5-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's stamina & form.
• #2 JAMMIN JIMTOWN (3-1) should be competitive based on the overall power rating which has it tops in the group.
• #7 FACTOR THIS IN (6-1) classes up well enough to be a factor in this spot.

Selections: 1-12-2-7 (Best Bet: #1 GRIT'N'GRIND )

Parx Race Course Race 8

Post: 4:14 PM ET; Purse: $55,000 Starter Handicap, 1 Mile 70 Yards on Dirt; Entries: 10

• #10 MISS DILLINGHAM (2-1) has a great shot in the race given the speed & power rating.
• #3 FLEETERTHAN (4-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's class & early pace numbers.
• #9 ASSUME CONTROL (8-1) rates out well with these ones and is a much better price. I definitely will have a long hard look at this one as an include on horizontal tickets.
• #1 PARANOIA (5-1) could get a perfect pace scenario today.

• #7 EXIT RIGHT (2-1) has a great shot in the race given the the connections and superior pace numbers.
• #5 FLAT OUT FLYING (3-1) should be competitive today based on the horse's speed & power rating.
• #9 SECRET PATH (6-1) has run some solid numbers in recent starts. Maybe this one can spring an upset here.
• #3 SILVER EDGE (4-1) could get the right trip in this spot to be dangerous.

Post: 5:10 PM ET; Purse: $55,000 Starter Handicap, 5 1/2 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 13

• #12 PICTOR (6-1) is a major player in today's race edging the field in several key handicapping factors including speed & form. We saw a horse win from the 13 post on Tuesday so that gives hope that it can be done although that was at a longer distance.
• #9 BRAZEN (4-1) is proven as a good bet to at least hit the board under today's distance and surface conditions.
• #1 BEVERLY PARK (3-1) is worth a look here given edges in class & power rating.
• #7 STUDIO B (6-1) could be near the pace. As an outsider maybe they send this one a little harder and it gets an early lead that others fail to keep up with.

• #4 MR THRIFTY (5-1) will likely have the stamina to outlast these in the final jumps of the race.
• #7 MAMAIGOTTHIS (10-1) is worth a look here given edges in record at the distance & pace numbers.
