Parx Tuesday (12/27): Juvenile, Futurity Full Card Analysis

The Tuesday card from Parx Race Course features the Parx Juvenile. Recruiter drew the 7 post and was installed as the morning line favorite.

Post: 11:55 AM ET; $34k Claiming going 6 1/2 furlongs on dirt; Entries: 9

• #8 PEGASUS IN FLIGHT (9-5) gets the top selection. She has races good enough to beat this group. This one has the top overall power rating.
• #6 XENATOWN (4-1) looks to be the class of the field. This one could be a dangerous threat to get loose on the front end.
• #4 JOHNNYSLITTLEGIRL (6-1) has solid early pace figures in a race that looks to lack a ton of front running speed.
• #7 RAINBOW TROUT (9-2) seems to fit well enough here. This one is a good bet to hit the board in this type of race.

• #4 RUDY ROD (3-1) is the top pick. He has the top overall power rating in the group. This one will likely have a lot to do in the lane, but could get up with a competitive run.
• #6 HEALY'S HOPE (4-1) has to be respected going out for the combination of Aristone and Haddock. This one has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here.
• #2 PEDERSON'S COURAGE (6-1) has races good enough to beat this group. This one has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.
• #3 BOURBON MISSION (10-1) comes into the race in really good form. This one goes out for the Taylor barn and gets Adorno in the irons.

• #7 ANGINETTI (7-2) could be a dangerous threat to get loose on the front end. This one goes out for the Lee barn and gets Adorno in the irons.
• #8 MAGICAL ANNA (6-1) will likely be out on or near the lead and will look to hold off the charge to the wire.
• #10 BOCA ROYALTY (4-1) looks to be the class of the field.

• #1 SPAN OF CONTROL (9-2) appears to be a major player in this race. He should be part of the early pace in this spot. This one looks to be the class of the field.
• #11 DADASHEV (6-1) fits this group on speed figueres.
• #10 ABOUT THE MULTIPLE (8-1) appears to be a major player in this race. He is a good bet to hit the board in this type of race.

• #10 SHADOW CHASER (6-1) looks to be the class of the field. This one makes sense on speed figures.

• #3 CUP OF LIFE (4-1) looks best here. She will be rolling late and has a good closing kick that could get the job done here. This one looks to be the class of the field.
• #8 LADY RYAN (6-1) is well bred for this spot. This one will likely have a lot to do in the lane, but could get up with a competitive run.
• #4 BET ON DRAMA (7-2) isn't without hope. She has the pedigree to be a major player in this spot.
• #2 GETAWAY PALACE (3-1) shouldn't have trouble with the 6 furlong distance.

• #6 ASKIN FOR A BASKIN (7-2) has tactical speed and can sit just off the leaders for a stalk and pounce trip.
• #8 FEDERAL CASE (6-1) is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. He makes sense on speed figures. This one one should be sitting just off the leaders as they turn for home.
• #4 BAILEY (8-1) has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.
