Woodbine Features Win and You’re In Races for Breeders’ Cup

Woodbine racetrack in Canada has a busy weekend. Saturday’s card features 4 graded stakes races. Three of those are grade 1 races and will earn the winner a spot in the Breeders’ Cup.

Woodbine- Race 1

• #6 LA PRINCESSA POLLY (6-1) has solid early pace figures in a race that looks to lack a ton of front running speed.
• #3 TARA LUNA (5-2) is a good bet to hit the board in this type of race. This one is well bred for this spot.
• #7 FIRE EMOJI (10-1) is a price horse and has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.
• #4 WELL ACTUALLY (12-1) goes out for the Glennon barn and gets Flores in the irons.

• #6 SOUPER SINCLAIR (3-1) could be a dangerous threat to get loose on the front end.
• #11 CANADIANSWEETHEART (5-1) feels she will be rolling late and has a good closing kick that could get the job done here.

• #7 MALIBU UPROAR (2-1) should be sitting in the second tier of runners and looking to make one well timed run at the leaders.
• #6 GRANDSON (5-2) makes sense on speed figures. This one may benefit from a hot pace up front.

• #2 LADY BREW (10-1) is a price horse and has races good enough to beat this group.
• #6 BERAVINA (10-1) is a longshot going out for the Attard barn and gets Hernandez in the irons.

• #4 BEDAZZLE ME (8-1) looks to be the class of the field.

• #6 PHILIP MY DEAR (2-1) has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.

• #4 CHISELER (12-1) will likely be out on or near the lead and will look to hold off the charge to the wire.
• #2 NINETYFOUR EXPOS (15-1) should be part of the early pace in this spot.

• #10 GOLDEN VISION (15-1) is a price horse and projects to sit mid pack and come with one run.

• #2 IVAR (4-1) has the top overall power rating in the group. This one has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here.
• #3 WAKANAKA (10-1) has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here.
• #11 MARCH TO THE ARCH (12-1) may benefit from a hot pace up front.
• #5 MODERN GAMES (7-5) projects to sit mid pack and come with one run. Maybe this runner can get credit for winning the Breeders’ Cup this year.
