The 2024 United States Presidential Election is officially in the final stretch with election night quickly approaching on Nov. 5. Former Republican president Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris have been going back and forth for the last few months, leaving time to tell who’ll sit in the Oval Office next.
Just like in sports, election odds are constantly changing until the final vote is cast. Both Trump and Harris have spent their time in the lead among betting circles and things are bound to keep moving in the coming days.
In the meantime, let’s look at the latest 2024 U.S. election odds to see how the situation has changed leading up to Nov. 5

Presidential Election Odds Updates (10/25)
U.S. Presidential Election odds are courtesy of BetOnline at 10:25 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
- Donald Trump (-170)
- Kamala Harris (+145)
- Other (+5000)
Trump is currently the favorite to win the 2024 United States Presidential Election as he currently sits as the -170 favorite on BetOnline. Although nothing is guaranteed at the moment, those odds carry an implied win probability of 63.0%.
For reference, Trump and Harris were in a tie at -110 odds following the Vice Presidential debate earlier this month.
Trump has begun to create some separation in battleground states like North Carolina and Georgia, however, locations like Nevada, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania are still fairly even. Having said that, it’s Harris who’s currently leading by 1.5% in national polls, according to FiveThirtyEight.
According to USA Today, the betting favorite one month before the election has only lost in 1916, 1948, and 2016. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not that trend continues in November.
Although Trump is currently in the lead among offshore betting sites, it’s clear that this year’s presidential election is looking like a toss-up. We likely won’t have a good idea of a winner until the ballot stations close and votes are counted.
