The Cleveland Guardians (51-26) will try to sweep the Baltimore Orioles (49-30) when the American League clubs clash at Camden Yards on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. ET.
The Guardians extended their winning streak to seven consecutive games with Tuesday’s 10-8 win against the Orioles. Cleveland’s offensive explosion was led by Jose Ramirez and Bo Naylor, who went a combined 5-for-9 in the batter’s box with a home run and six RBIs.
Does Cleveland have what it takes to extend its winning ways? Or will Baltimore find a way to avoid the looming sweep?
You’ve come to the right place if you want to get in on the Guardians vs. Orioles MLB betting action, so let’s dive into my prediction and picks for today’s game.

Guardians vs Orioles Predictions & MLB Picks Today (6/26)
On paper, this game is a potential AL Championship Series preview. After all, the Orioles (2nd in AL East) currently hold the second-best ALCS odds (+375) while the Guardians (1st in AL Central) aren’t much further behind in fourth at +650.
Having said that, you wouldn’t think that these clubs are relative equals based on their recent performances.
The Guardians have looked like one of the MLB’s best teams throughout their seven-game winning streak. They scored at least six runs in all but one of those contests while outscoring the opposition 46-22 on aggregate — a plus-3.4 average run margin.
On the flip side, the Orioles are struggling to re-discover the win column. Baltimore heads into tonight’s contest on a five-game losing streak, which involves allowing 8.0 runs per game. Last night’s loss also marked the second time during that stretch the club surrendered a double-digit run total.
The Orioles are struggling to limit their opponent’s offensive production.
That’s without also mentioning how the Orioles have dropped five of their last six home games to the Guardians.
It’ll be interesting to see if Grayson Rodriguez can lead Baltimore to victory. While the 24-year-old righty is 8-3 with a 3.82 ERA through his first 13 starts, he just allowed seven earned runs on as many hits in his last appearance, leaving time to tell if he can bounce back.
At the same time, it isn’t like Carlos Carrasco has been lights out for the Guardians. Carrasco only surrendered one earned run in six innings in his last start, however, it’s worth noting that he’s a putrid 0-3 with a 7.01 ERA in his last five road starts. That’s without mentioning how he’s allowed exactly five runs in each of his last five starts after allowing two or fewer runs in the previous appearance.
Which version of Guardians RHP Carlos Carrasco will show up today?
While the Guardians have had the upper hand in this series, the Orioles should win today. All good things must come to an end eventually, just like Cleveland’s streak. Baltimore is due to break out of its funk and a strong showing from Rodriguez on the mound could be the key.
But regardless of who wins, I expect the 9-run total to be surpassed. After all, the Over is 6-3 in the Guardians’ last nine games and 5-2 in the Orioles’ last seven.
With the last eight games between these clubs averaging a combined 11.2 runs, it’s best not to expect a pitching duel.

Best Guardians vs Orioles MLB Player Prop (6/26)
When it comes to the top Guardians vs. Orioles player prop, you can’t go wrong with a sprinkle on Carlos Carrasco o3.5 earned runs (+125).
Carrasco has been inconsistent throughout the 2024 MLB season and it’s only gotten worse. The 37-year-old veteran has surrendered more than 3.5 earned runs in four of his last nine starts while pitching to a 6.17 ERA along the way. He also owns a 5.95 ERA through eight road starts and just surrendered five earned runs in as many innings to the Toronto Blue Jays in his last away appearance.
After the Orioles tagged Logan Allen for six earned runs less than 24 hours ago, I don’t see Carrasco faring much better.
Best Guardians vs. Orioles MLB Prop Bet: Ty France 2+ Total Bases (+131)
