<h2 id="c23j9">The Action Man is ready</h2>
<p>Chris Curtis, who has been a professional MMA fighter since 2009, had to bide his time for a UFC shot, but he has taken full advantage of it. The 35-year-old Ohio native has won three bouts in the promotion across the last eight months, and a fourth in a row will only enhance his prospects for the future.</p>
<p>After defeating Phil Hawes by knockout at UFC 268 last November, Curtis followed up with against Brandon Allen the next month at UFC on ESPN: Font vs. Aldo. </p>
<p>His most recent fight went the distance, as he downed Rodolfo Vieira by decision at UFC on ESPN: Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot on June 25. </p>
<p>He may have a pretty quick turnaround between fights, but as his back-to-back wins over Hawes and Allen show, he is equipped to handle a short turnaround without issue.</p>

<p>Jack Hermansson is a Swedish-born MMA fighter residing in Oslo, Norway, where he trains under the guidance of Frontline Academy. </p>
<p>He has been competing since 2010 and has amassed 29 matches during that time, building from the Cage Warriors before moving to the UFC.</p>
<p>He will enjoy a decent following in the O2 Arena due to his Cage Warriors background with the promotion on show the night before, with many fans expected to do the double and take in both fight nights. </p>
<p>Jack won the Cage Warriors middleweight championship, claiming the Warrior Fight Series, which catapulted him to bigger and better things.</p>
<p>A genuine all-rounder, the number eight ranked fighter is skilled in BJJ, which makes him a threat on the floor, but he’s no soft touch in the striking department either, bringing power in both fists and range in his kicking. </p>
<p>Hermansson is a force to be reckoned with, and the ability to stand and trade or hold his own in the grappling side of things has helped him defeat many respected opponents.</p>
<h2 id="tttj">Fade an out of form Hermansson</h2>
<p>Hermansson is a talented fighter, but it doesn’t show in his recent form, with the Swede winning just two of his last five outings in the UFC. </p>
<p>The top promotion in MMA doesn’t have journeymen the way we see in professional boxing, but if Jack loses this bout, he could be in danger of falling into the bracket of an opponent.</p>
<p>In that run of five fights, his form reads loss, win, loss, win, loss, and that does little to inspire confidence in him making a return to winning ways in London.</p>
<p>His last victory came in May last year, with his most recent bout ending in a split decision defeat against Sean Strickland in Las Vegas. Each of his last three bouts has gone to points.</p>
<p>With Curtis’s form trending up and Hermansson’s form trending down, the better value is on Curtis to claim the win in London on Saturday.</p>
