MMA fans around the planet are buzzing with excitement as UFC 282 is scheduled to go down on Saturday, Dec. 10. As usual, there are a ton of matchups to look forward to and a lot to take in before the pay-per-view festivities begin in just over a week.
Blachowicz vs. Ankalaev to Headline UFC 282
While there’s something for everyone at the upcoming event, most eyes are looking ahead to the main event between Jan Blachowicz (29-9) and Magomed Ankalaev (18-1) for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.
The main event was supposed to be between then-champion Jiří Procházka and Glover Teixeira, however, the former was injured while the latter refused a replacement fight. Instead, Blachowicz and Ankalaev will compete for the gold as the No. 2 and No. 3 light heavyweight fighters, respectively.
A UFC PPV is often a lot to digest — especially if you want to add some betting action on the side. Fortunately, we’ve gathered all of BetOnline Sportsbook’s latest UFC 282 betting odds for you all in one place.

UFC 282 Main Card and Odds (Odds as of Friday, Dec. 2)
The UFC 282 odds listed below are via BetOnline Sportsbook.
UFC 282 Main Event: Jan Blachowicz (+190) vs. Magomed Ankalaev (-320)
Blachowicz isn’t a stranger to competing for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. In fact, the title was vacant when he won it by knocking out Dominick Reyes back at UFC 253. Unfortunately, he only managed to have one successful defense before losing it to Glover Teixeira back in October 2021.
The good news for Blachowicz is, outside of that loss, he’s been successful lately, winning six of his last seven fights. Having said that, he’s going to have his hands full with his upcoming opponent.
After losing his UFC debut, nobody has been able to stop Ankalaev. The Russian fighter has won nine straight fights since his lone MMA defeat, knocking out five opponents while winning the other four contests by unanimous decision.
While he’s never held UFC gold, Ankalaev is a former WFCA Light Heavyweight Champion. He has all the tools to be a star in the sport and if he can get the better of Blachowicz at T-Mobile Arena, the sky is the former’s limit.
UFC 282 Co-Main Event: Paddy Pimblett (-184) vs. Jared Gordon (+154)
The UFC 282 co-main event will see lightweight action as Paddy Pimblett (19-3) goes one-on-one with Jared Gordon (19-5).
One of the company’s most eccentric personalities, Pimblett’s popularity has been growing lately. A lot of that has to do with his recent success, winning five straight fights ahead of the PPV. On top of that, he’s also been named ‘Performer of the Night’ in each of his last three bouts, winning once by KO and twice by submission.
Meanwhile, Gordon enters this fight after a unanimous decision win over Leonardo Santos at UFC 278. While the victory was the 34-year-old’s fourth in his last five outings, it’s important to highlight that he is just 3-4 in his last seven lightweight matchups.
Welterweight: Robbie Lawler (+330) vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio (-420)
Robbie Lawler (29-16, 1NC) and Santiago Ponzinibbio (28-6) are set to collide in a welterweight showdown at UFC 282.
A former UFC Welterweight Champion, Lawler has looked like a shell of his former self for a while now. As from a TKO victory over Nate Diaz last year, Lawler hasn’t experienced much success, losing six of his last eight fights — including a TKO loss to Bryan Barberena back in July.
At the same time, it isn’t like Ponzinibbio has been winning a lot. The Argentinian fighter is 1-3 in his last four fights. Both of his last two losses were by split decision, so he’s managed to prove that he can stick around. Now, he just needs to prove that he can actually win again.
Middleweight: Darren Till (+120) vs. Dricus du Plessis (-142)
The middleweight division will be on display when Darren Till (18-4-1) and Dricus du Plessis (17-2) meet in the octagon.
Things have gone downhill since Till challenged for the welterweight gold at UFC 228. Including that loss, he’s gone 1-4 in his last five outings, submitting to Derek Brunson in his last fight back in September 2021.
The same can’t be said for du Plessis, who’s won five straight fights ahead of UFC 282. He’s tallied two KO victories in his first three UFC fights, making it interesting to see if he can knock out Till for the second time in the latter’s career.
Featherweight: Bryce Mitchell (+136) vs. Ilia Topuria (-162)
Judging by the odds, the featherweight match between Bryce Mitchell (15-0) and Ilia Topuria (12-0) is shaping up to be a close one.
Mitchell is undefeated to begin his MMA career and 6-0 in fights under the UFC umbrella. Five of those six outings went the distance, highlighting Mitchell’s preference for longer fights.
Nevertheless, Topuria also owns a spotless record. He’s looked a bit more impressive in his first four UFC fights, recording KO victories in each of his last three showings — resulting in ‘Performer of the Night’ honors in his win over Jai Herbert back in April.
UFC 282 Preliminary Card
Heavyweight: Jairzinho Rozenstruik (-178) vs. Chris Daukaus (+150)
A pair of heavyweights look to get back into the win column when Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Chris Daukaus meet on UFC 282’s preliminary card.
Rozenstruik has been anything but consistent lately, going 2-4 in his last six fights while losing each of his last two. Meanwhile, after a five-fight winning streak, Daukaus has suffered back-to-back losses to Derrick Lewis and Curtis Blaydes in his latest pair of performances.
Lightweight: Raul Rosas Jr. (-255) vs. Jay Perrin (+210)
One match that fans should keep an eye on is a lightweight bout between Raul Rosas Jr. (6-0) and Jay Perrin (10-6).
The undefeated Rosas makes his UFC PPV debut after scoring a unanimous decision win over Mando Gutierrez on Week 9 of Dana White's Contender Series 2022. Perrin will try to stop his opponent’s momentum, however, it won’t be easy considering how the 29-year-old veteran has lost each of his last two fights by unanimous decision.
Middleweight: Edmen Shahbazyan (-310) vs. Dalcha Lungiambula (+250)
Edman Shahbazyan (11-3) and Dalcha Lungiambula (11-5) both look to snap their respective losing skids when they clash at UFC 282.
Shahbazyan wowed fans with an 11-0 record to begin his MMA career, only to lose each of his last three fights (including two by TKO). Unfortunately, Lungiambula is also on a three-fight losing streak, picking up a second-round KO loss to Punahele Soriano less than five months ago.
Middleweight: Chris Curtis (+110) vs. Joaquin Buckley (-130)
UFC fans will also be treated to a secondary preliminary middleweight fight as Chris Curtis (29-9) is slated to take on Joaquin Buckley (15-5).
Curtis had momentum on his side after winning eight straight matchups, however, things came to a screeching halt with a unanimous decision loss to Jack Hermansson in his last fight. At the same time, Buckley looks to return to his winning ways after Nassourdine Imavov snapped his three-fight run in September.
UFC 282 Early Prelims Card
Featherweight: Billy Quarantillo (-168) vs. Alexander Hernandez (+142)
There are also some intriguing fights on the UFC 282 early prelims card, including a featherweight showdown between Billy Quarantillo (16-4) and Alexander Hernandez (13-5).
A former King of the Cage, Quarantillo enters this bout looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Shane Burgos at UFC 268. Meanwhile, Hernandez submitted to Renato Moicano in his last outing at UFC 271 and looks to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time in his career.
Featherweight: T.J. Brown (+124) vs. Erik Silva (-146)
A second early prelims featherweight tilt pits T.J. Brown (16-9) head-to-head with Erik Silva (9-1).
Though he’s impressed at times, Brown is just 2-3 in his last five fights and recently went the distance with Shayilan Nuerdanbieke in June, only to lose unanimously. It’s going to be hard for Brown to rebound against Silva, who’s won eight straight fights with four of his last five wins coming via submission.
Flyweight: Vinicius Salvador (TBD) vs. Daniel Lacerda (TBD)
Lastly, Vinicius Salvador (14-4) will take on Daniel Lacerda (5-4) in flyweight competition.
Salvador has begun heating up lately, winning four straight fights by TKO ahead of UFC 282. Fortunately, Salvador has a good shot at finding more success against Lacerda, who’s lost three straight fights, which includes two knockout losses.
