UFC Singapore is less than 24 hours away from bringing a thrilling card of MMA action to the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Even though a good chunk of fans are only looking forward to the main card bouts, the preliminary slate also has its fair share of betting opportunities worth checking out.
Betting News, once again, has all of your preliminary card needs covered. Here are the latest odds for Saturday morning’s early UFC Singapore fights, along with my prediction and picks for each bout.
UFC Singapore Preliminary Card Picks
The UFC Singapore odds listed below are as of 11:35 a.m. on Friday, August 25 via BetOnline.
Heavyweight: Waldo Cortes-Acosta (-220) vs. Lukasz Brzeski (+185)
Waldo Cortes-Acosta (9-1) enters UFC Singapore looking to rebound from April’s unanimous decision loss to Marcos Rogerio de Lima. Meanwhile, Lukasz Brzeski (8-3-1, 1NC) comes off back-to-back losses to Martin Buday and Karl Williams, losing both via points.
In what should be a hard-hitting battle, I like Cortes-Acosta winning. He lands more significant strikes per minute (7.09 vs. 5.11) with better accuracy (51% vs. 47%) than Brzeski, who hasn’t won a fight in over three years.
Cortes-Acosta is due for a bounce-back win and with how dangerous of a striker he can be, I won’t be shocked if he leaves Brzeski lying on his back.
Best Bet: Waldo Cortes-Acosta by KO/TKO (+200)

Bantamweight: Toshiomi Kazama (+130) vs. Garrett Armfield (-150)
Toshiomi Kazama (10-3) is the underdog at UFC Singapore following a first-round knockout loss to Rinya Nakamura earlier this year. At the same time, Garrett Armfield (8-3) could use a boost after being submitted by David Onama in the former’s UFC debut.
I actually like the idea of Kazama pulling off an upset this weekend. Armfield didn’t look good in his debut, landing only 29% of his strikes while being takedown twice and placed in a submission once.
Considering how the “Silent Finisher” averages 1.93 takedowns per 15 minutes, I see Kazama tiring Armfield out before eventually winning by points.
Best Bet: Toshiomi Kazama by Points (+500)
Middleweight: Chidi Njokuani (+101) vs. Michał Oleksiejczuk (-121)
Chidi Njokuani (22-9, 1NC) enters the weekend as he hopes to avoid three straight losses for the first time in his career. Time will tell if he can stop the skid against Michael Oleksiejczuk (18-6, 1NC), who is 4-2 in his last six fights.
In a fight that could do either way, I’m taking Njokuani to return to form. He’s the better striker of the two middleweights while his 70% takedown defense should help keep Oleksiejczuk’s grappling attempts at bay.
Neither man has great cardio and with BetOnline favoring that this fight won’t go the distance (-280), look for Njokuani to win this meeting by KO/TKO.
Best Bet: Chidi Njokuani by KO/TKO (+215)
Welterweight: Song Kenan (+283) vs. Rolando Bedoya (-345)
Song Kenan (19-7) is in trouble after consecutive knockout losses to Max Griffin and Ian Machado Garry. Things don’t get any easier for the 33-year-old when he takes on Rolando Bedoya (14-2), who’s hungry after coming up short in his UFC debut.
Although Song’s tenure started off well, he can’t be trusted after back-to-back KO/TKO losses. I just don’t see him performing well against an opponent who’s racked up six finishes (Four via KO/TKO, two via submission) in his last 10 outings.
Don’t expect a lengthy bout here: Bedoya will end this one before the round limit is up.
Best Bet: Rolando Bedoya by KO/TKO (+200)
Welterweight: Billy Goff (+117) vs. Yusaku Kinoshita (-137)
Saturday’s action sees Billy Goff (8-2) searching for his seventh win in a row. On the flip side, Yusaku Kinoshita (6-2) is coming off a first-round TKO loss to Adam Fugitt back in February.
This fight is another one where I like the idea of an upset. Goff looked great on Dana White’s Contender Series 2022 and has now won each of his last four outings by knockout. With Kinoshita looking vulnerable, I see Goff continuing his hot streak in Singapore.
Whether it’s another KO/TKO win or he needs to go the distance to get the job done, Goff will emerge victorious somehow.
Best Bet: Billy Goff Outright (+117)

Women’s Flyweight: Liang Na (+405) vs. JJ Aldrich (-555)
Liang Na’s (19-6) UFC run has been unremarkable thus far, losing her first two fights via knockout. Meanwhile, JJ Aldrich (11-6) is also coming off back-to-back defeats following a unanimous decision loss to Ariane Lipski five months ago.
Even though neither woman has much momentum at the moment, Aldrich has at least won in the UFC before (7-5 record). Her cardio and defense will help her survive all three rounds, earning enough points to take home the victory by the final bell.
Best Bet: JJ Aldrich by Points (+195)
Featherweight: Seung Woo Choi (-150) vs. Jarno Errens (+130)
Seung Woo Choi (19-6) heads into UFC Singapore riding a three-fight losing streak. Standing in his way of relief is Jarno Errens (13-4-1), who lost in his debut to William Gomis (via majority decision).
I’m not really a huge fan of betting on this fight. Choi has been getting beaten up left and right while Errens is largely unproven. Keeping that in mind, I’m taking a neutral approach to this fight by predicting that it’ll go the distance, regardless of who wins.
Best Bet: Fight to Go the Distance (+110)
