NBA Preview, Odds & Picks for December 11: Can Embiid, Sixers Rebound From Tough Thursday With Win Over Warriors?

It’s a seven-game Saturday in the NBA, with today’s action in the Association starting this afternoon with the Orlando Magic facing the Los Angeles Clippers. That isn’t the most appealing matchup from an NBA betting or entertainment perspective, but fortunately there are a number of interesting matchups for the evening tipoffs.

Will Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers have more success against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at home than they did in San Fran a few weeks ago? The Sixers were without both Embiid and Tobias Harris in that 116-96 defeat. With both in the lineup tonight, will they fare better than they did then or in Thursday’s 22-point home loss to the Utah Jazz?

Speaking of the Jazz, they wrap up a four-game road swing tonight with a matchup against the Washington Wizards. The Wizards have come down a bit since their 10-3 start, but they have been strong at home. It will not be an easy task to slow down the Jazz, who have started to hit their stride and have won six straight and 10 of 12 to consolidate third spot in the Western Conference.
