Prediction

Game 1 was a rollercoaster, with the Clippers picking up a massive win on the road to get the series off to a dramatic start.

Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers were fantastic, as Leonard dropped 38 points to lead the Clips to the perfect start to Round 1.

It will have to be more of the same tonight if the Clippers want to take a huge 2-0 lead, which would really be one of the headlines of the opening round so far.

The Suns have other ideas, though, as Kevin Durant and Devin Booker will look to come in and even things out in what will be a battle tonight in Footprint Center.

Durant started slow in Game 1, not scoring a point in the 1st quarter but finished with a near triple double of 27 points, 11 assists and 9 rebounds.

Devin Booker and Durant must be big once again tonight for the Suns to even things out, and while I think they will be, it will be close once again.

Give me the Clippers to cover, but the Suns to win to even things out in the West before heading to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles for Game 3.

Hard to not take Kawhi here and rather than focusing on one category, let’s just do them all.

Leonard almost covered his PRA with just points in Game 1 and while I don’t think that will happen again, he will have to flirt with 30 if the Clippers want to stay around.

With no Paul George for the Clips, Leonard shoulders a major load on offense, doing a little bit of everything.

Kawhi has hit his PRA in his last 2 games versus Phoenix and in 3 of his last 5 games overall.

I expect more of the same once again from the Claw tonight.
