Can the Bulls Back Up a Notable Trend & Grab a Huge Home Win?

March started on a less than stellar note for Memphis, but it ended rather well. Entering April, the Grizzlies are 11-2 SU in their last 13 games. With the Nuggets having lost seven of their last 12 games, things have tightened up quite a bit at the top of the Western Conference.

To keep things motoring along favorably, the Grizzlies must successfully navigate their visit to the Windy City.

Memphis is only 15-22 SU and 13-23-1 ATS on the road this season, but they are 7-6 SU and ATS on the road against Eastern Conference opposition. However, they have won and covered just once in their last five road games against the East, in a 123-119 win at Atlanta last Sunday.

The Bulls haven’t exactly thrived in the position that they are in today though. As a home underdog, Chicago is just 7-11 SU and 7-10-1 ATS this season. At one point, those records looked more respectable, but the Bulls are just 1-6 SU and ATS in their last seven games as a home dog.

But there is one favorable feather in Chicago’s cap ahead of the matchup with Memphis. The Bulls, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, have a far better ATS record following a win than the Grizzlies do.

Entering today, only the Knicks (27-16-1, 62.8%) have a better ATS success rate than the Bulls (20-13-3, 60.6%), while the Grizzlies (23-23-2, 50.0%) rank in the bottom half of the league.
