See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe Utah Jazz travel to the Bay to take on the Golden State Warriors in a midweek Western Conference clash.
The Jazz are one of the bigger surprises in the West to start the season, sitting 9th in the conference and 19-17 overall.
They get a swing at the Warriors tonight, who are still without Steph Curry but are getting by just fine.
The Warriors have won 2 in a row and are going to look to make it 3 tonight at home against the electric Jazz.
Here is my analysis, a Game Prediction and the Best Player prop from this exciting matchup!
No Steph? No Problem?
Things looked a bit bleak when the Warriors found out that Steph Curry was going to be out for about a month with a shoulder injury.
Steph had been playing awesome basketball to start the season, and it was a huge blow to lose him for any point of the season.
The Warriors have managed just fine, though, with Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson picking up the slack and leading the way.
The Warriors backcourt will be without Thompson tonight for injury maintenance so Poole will have to play a big role if they want to grab a victory over the Jazz and their dynamic duo of Lauri Markkanen and Jordan Clarkson.
Lauri and Jordan are gellin’ for the Jazz
Both of these guys have been ballin’.
Markkanen and Clarkson find themselves in much bigger roles this season, for different reasons and they have exceeded expectations to the delight of Jazz fans.
Markkanen has been fantastic scoring, averaging over 23 points per game and is shooting 43% from behind the arc, both career highs.
Clarkson has been just as good, averaging 20 points per game, which is a career high and has been so good filling the role of a consistent starter.
Can these two budding stars take down the Warriors in the Bay tonight?
Let’s dive in.

Prediction
This is going to be a great game.
These teams matchup really well and it should be a shootout, with the total set at the high 232.
I was just going to take the over here, as I think both of these teams stay hot scoring the basketball.
I think this one stays close and the Warriors hang around at home. It’s always tough taking home dogs but I like the Warriors to cover and at least keep this within striking distance all game long.
Best Bet
Warriors +4 (-114)
Consensus Bet
Warriors +4 (-114)
Props of the Game
Jordan Poole o27.5 pts (-120)
Without Klay in the lineup, the Warriors have to get scoring from somewhere and look no further than Poole.
Poole has been great since filling in for Steph in the starting PG position.
He has 28+ pts in 3 of his last 6 and only missed last night because Klay carried the load.
No Klay tonight means a big game is needed from Poole and he will deliver.
The Jazz allow the 6th most points to PGs in the league, at almost 30/game. This total is also set at 232 like I mentioned before which means a high scoring game.
Poole will have plenty of chances. I love a bounce back game from Poole.
Let’s have a Poole Party!
Bonus:
30+ (+105)
35+ (+270)
Lauri Markkanen o23.5 Points (-104)
As I mentioned before, Markkanen has been sensational to start the season with his new team.
He fits in this offense perfectly and he is being incredibly aggressive scoring the basketball.
He is shooting a great percentage from behind the arc and is getting to the foul line on a regular basis as well.
He had 24 when these two teams faced off earlier this season and he has 24+ in 4 of his last 6.
2 of those were 30+ point nights as well.
Markkanen will be looking to be aggressive all night long and keep the Jazz offense chugging along.
Bonus:
30+ (+310)
