See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe NBA Western Conference is in action on Friday, Feb. 3 as the Sacramento Kings are slated to go one-on-one with the Indiana Pacers. This is the second and final Kings vs Pacers matchup of the season after Sacramento picked up a huge 137-114 victory over Indiana at Golden 1 Center back in November.
The Kings enter tonight’s showdown looking for their third consecutive victory. They’re coming off Wednesday’s 119-109 victory against the San Antonio Spurs that saw Domantas Sabonis dominate with a 34-point, 11-rebound double-double. Not to be outdone, De’Aaron Fox also had a double-double, finishing with 31 points and 10 assists.
The Pacers have had the opposite luck recently, losing for the fourth straight game with a 112-111 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers last night. Indiana hasn’t had much success at home lately either, leaving time to tell if the Pacers can reverse their fortunes tonight.
There’s a lot to take in before Friday’s Kings vs Pacers game. Fortunately, Betting News has gathered the game’s odds while also having a prediction, the best bets and a player prop for tonight’s contest.

Kings vs Pacers Prediction and Picks
Kings vs Pacers Prediction: Kings 123, Pacers 112
Kings vs Pacers Picks: Kings -2.5 (Best Value: -112 at BetOnline) & Under 236.5 Points Points (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline)
To say that the Pacers have struggled lately would be an understatement. Despite a promising start to the campaign, success has alluded Indiana for quite some time.
The Pacers are an abysmal 1-11 in their last 12 games, putting them in a three-way tie with the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans for the worst record over that stretch.
The lack of success has a lot to do with how poorly the Pacers have been shooting the ball. Their 44.6% field-goal percentage during that team ranks last in the NBA while their 33.3% three-point percentage comes in at the sixth-worst spot. While Indiana did shoot the ball well against the Lakers (.484/.390/.833), it remains to be seen if that was a one-off performance.
The Pacers’ defense has also struggled during their lengthy skid. Opponents are averaging 122.3 points over Indiana’s last 12 games — third-most in that span. On top of that, opponents are also shooting 50.1% from the field (No. 26) and 39.9% from three-point range (No. 26).
Assuming that trend continues, the Pacers will struggle tonight. For starters, the Kings average the most points in the NBA this season (119.5 PPG). Secondly, they also sink 13.4 threes per game (No. 7) on 36.8% shooting (No. 11).
Sacramento already found success against Indiana on the perimeter in the first Kings vs Pacers matchup of the season, going 16-of-43 (37.2%) from beyond the arc.
It’s also worth noting that the Kings have won four of their last five meetings with the Pacers, outscoring the latter by an average of 7.4 points. On top of that, Sacramento has also won both of its last two trips to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, holding Indiana to an average of 101 points in those contests.
Even though the Kings will be without Fox (personal), they have enough talent to defeat the Pacers. It also helps that Indiana is just 1-4 in its last five home games, surrendering 121.2 PPG during that timeframe.
At the end of the day, the Kings shouldn’t have too much trouble defeating the reeling Pacers. Indiana is playing on less than 24 hours of rest following a physical matchup and might not have the energy to keep pace with a team like Sacramento.
Back the Kings covering as 2.5-point favorites as one of the best bets. After all, they’re 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games this season and 4-1 ATS in their last five against the Pacers, who have failed to cover the spread in eight of their last 10 outings.
I also recommend backing the total going under 236.5 points. On top of the under being 5-0 in Sacramento’s last five games and 4-2 in Indiana’s last six, the total has finished below its projected mark in 10 of the last 15 Kings vs Pacers clashes.
Best Kings vs Pacers Prop Bet
Domantas Sabonis — Over 21.5 Points (-113)
Domantas Sabonis enters this matchup against his former team with a projected total of 21.5 points on BetOnline Sportsbook. It’s a number that he’s surpassed twice in his last three games, including a 34-point showing in his last outing.
With Fox sidelined, the Kings will rely on Sabonis for an offensive spark, which he should have no issue providing. After all, he’s averaging 22.0 points on 66.3% shooting in his last seven road games.
With the Pacers’ defense also playing awful as of late, it won’t be too difficult for Sabonis to finish with more than 21.5 points.
