The Lakers are fresh off a 150-145 victory over the Indiana Pacers — their third in a row — after Anthony Davis led the charge with a 36-point, 16-rebound double-double. Meanwhile, the Bucks are looking to extend their winning streak to three games following Sunday’s 118-93 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
When it comes to NBA Championship odds, both of these teams are in the mix on Bovada. Milwaukee enters tonight’s matchup with the fourth-best 2023-24 NBA Finals odds (+800) while Los Angeles currently sits in a tie for eighth (+2800).
But before we talk about championship runs, we must get through this evening’s contest (and its betting opportunities) first, so let’s check out my Lakers vs. Bucks NBA prediction and best bets.

Lakers vs Bucks Prediction & NBA Picks Today (3/26): Milwaukee Gets Revenge
The Lakers and Bucks are set to collide again after meeting in a close-fought showdown on March 8. Los Angeles picked up the 123-122 victory that night as D’Angelo Russell racked up 44 points and even scored the game-winning jump shot with just under six seconds remaining. Although the Bucks are 10-4 SU across the last 14 games between these teams, the Lakers have now won two of the last three meetings.
Having said that, victory could be tougher to achieve tonight. Los Angeles is dealing with a slew of injuries at the moment as Jarred Vanderbilt (foot), Gabe Vincent (knee), and Christian Wood (knee) have all been ruled out for the remainder of the season. And while Anthony Davis (Achilles) is probable, LeBron James (ankle) is doubtful to face Milwaukee.
LeBron leads the Lakers in points (25.4), assists (8.1), and field goals made (9.5) per game, so it’s easy to see how his potential absence will hurt. It’s also worth noting that Darvin Ham’s team is 3-4 SU in the last seven games that the 39-year-old has missed.
The Bucks’ injury report isn’t perfect, but it’s more promising than the visitors’ situation. Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) and Damian Lillard (ankle) are banged up, but both men are probable to play tonight. MarJon Beauchamp (back) carries his team’s only ‘questionable’ designation.
How will the Lakers perform if LeBron James (ankle/doubtful) can’t suit up in Milwaukee?
Playing this game on the road also doesn’t do any favors for the Lakers, who have a 37.5% winning percentage in away games — 11th-worst in the NBA. Not only have they also lost three of their last four road contests, too, but they’ve also dropped seven of their last 10 trips to Fiserv Forum.
Meanwhile, the Bucks are a whopping 27-5 SU (84.4%, 4th) as the home favorite this season. They also head into tonight’s matchup on a six-game winning streak at Fiserv Forum, outscoring those opponents by an average of 16.2 points per game.
That’s not great news for the Lakers considering how each of their last three road losses game by a double-digit margin. Being without LeBron clearly puts Los Angeles in a position where that trend could continue if Milwaukee is on its game this evening.
The Bucks have been on fire at Fiserv Forum lately.
With the Lakers being significantly shorthanded tonight, let’s take the Bucks to win. Milwaukee is one of the NBA’s best teams — especially at home — and will want some payback after losing to Los Angeles earlier this month. The Lakers are a much worse team without LeBron on the floor, so look for the home team to pick up a decisive victory.
Keeping that in mind, I do recommend taking the Over on the 232-point total. After all, the last four meetings between these teams averaged 243.4 points while finishing with more than 232 three times. Considering how they combined for 245 just a few weeks ago, I’m confident that the Over will be reached again.

Best Lakers vs Bucks NBA Prop Bet (3/26)
I’m keeping things simple by taking Anthony Davis to record over 12.5 rebounds as the best Lakers vs. Bucks player prop bet tonight.

Davis has been a rebounding machine lately, averaging 13.8 rebounds across his last 17 games while finishing with the Over 11 times. He’s also pulled through on this prop in each of his last three games, finishing with no fewer than 15 boards. That’s without mentioning how he’s hit the Over in back-to-back games against the Bucks.
After finishing with 13-plus rebounds in six of the last nine games that LeBron missed, I’m feeling confident about this prop.
