In Game 5 at Madison Square Garden, the Heat led 24-14 at the end of the first quarter. But the Knicks outscored them by 20 points combined in the second and third quarters and held off Miami’s rally attempt in the fourth quarter to keep the series alive.

Will New York Fall Short Again in Miami?
Despite missing out on a chance to finish the series on Wednesday, Miami is unlikely to be feeling the figurative heat ahead of tonight’s game, given how well they played at home in Games 3 and 4.
In Game 3, the Knicks shot only 20% from three and 34.1% overall from the field, and the Heat won all four quarters in a 105-86 win.
In Game 4, New York had a better game offensively, but the Heat still won all but the final quarter as they claimed a 109-101 win.
Will things go any better in Miami for the Knicks tonight?
Based on the eye test, there are not a lot of reasons for positivity if you have any futures tied up in the Knicks.
