The 2023-24 NBA season continues on Wednesday, Nov. 22, featuring a massive West Coast matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns on ESPN at 10 p.m. ET.
The Warriors are back in action after Monday’s 121-116 win over the Houston Rockets ended their six-game losing streak. Meanwhile, the Suns are gunning for their fifth straight win after Kevin Durant’s game-high 31 points led them to a 120-107 win over the Portland Trail Blazers last night.
Despite the upcoming foes heading in opposite directions as of late, they’re both viewed as title threats. Bovada lists the Suns at +800 odds to win the 2023-24 NBA Finals (4th-best) while the Warriors are behind them at +1200 (5th-best).
Let’s hop into this betting preview where we’ll look at my Warriors vs Suns prediction and the latest NBA odds, trends, and best bets you can make tonight.

Warriors vs Suns Prediction & Pick (Nov. 22)
This game marks the first time that the Warriors and Suns are meeting since Opening Night. Phoenix got the last laugh that night as Devin Booker led the way with 32 points while Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic each finished with double-doubles.
While history isn’t guaranteed to repeat itself, it’s hard to imagine tonight’s outcome being any different.
The Warriors just haven’t played well over the last few weeks. To put things into perspective, their only win over the last seven games came against the Houston Rockets, which isn’t saying much.
It goes without saying a big part of Golden State’s struggles is the fact that no one is helping Stephen Curry. While the greatest shooter of all time is averaging 29.6 points over the last seven games, everyone else on the team is playing at a 13.4 PPG clip or worse.
Meanwhile, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker have been a two-man wrecking crew during the Suns’ four-game winning streak. Durant is averaging 34.8 PTS/6.8 REB/9.5 AST on 74.4% true shooting while Booker is putting up 27.3 PPG and 8.5 APG while shooting 46.2% from the floor.
If Durant and Booker keep up their strong play, the Suns have a great chance to continue dominating the Warriors. After all, Phoenix has won five of its last six meetings with Golden State, outscoring the upcoming visitors by an average of 8.2 points.
On top of that, the Suns have covered the spread in five of the Warriors’ last six visits to Footprint Center.

With Curry getting zero help and the Warriors struggling to get the job done in Phoenix, I’m taking the Suns to win. Their top players are living up to their potential and as good as Curry is playing, he can’t match Durant and Booker on his own.
With the spread only sitting at 1.5 points in favor of the home team, I have no issues backing the Suns to cover — something they’ve done in four of their last five clashes with the Warriors.
Warriors vs Suns Prediction: PHX wins
Best Bet: PHX -1.5 (-110 on BetOnline)
Warriors vs Suns Best Player Prop
Scoring more than 31.5 points is tough for the majority of the NBA, but it’s another day in the office when you’re Kevin Durant.
The Suns’ superstar is averaging 33.6 points on .534/.568/.947 splits over his last nine games. He’s made good on this prop four times during that span and has scored 31 or more points in each of his last four games, showing just how consistent he is.
Considering how the Warriors are missing key defender Draymond Green due to his suspension, Durant has a great chance of hitting the Over again.
Best Warriors vs Suns Prop: Kevin Durant o31.5 Points (-112 on BetOnline)
