Out of all of the college basketball conference tournaments, the only one that carries the level of lore and prestige that the ACC Tournament does is the Big East Tournament. But in what has been a down year for one of the best conferences in college basketball, will we still get treated to a memorable vie days of ACC basketball in Brooklyn?

As it stands, five ACC teams are projected to make the upcoming NCAA Tournament: Duke, North Carolina, Miami, Notre Dame, and Wake Forest. Of that group, only Duke and North Carolina are ranked in the top 25, and the Blue Devils, who were upset at home by the Tar Heels this past Saturday, are the only team that will receive a high seed come Selection Sunday.

So, it has definitely been a down year for one of the ACC. But that doesn’t mean that this week’s tournament in Brooklyn will be unentertaining or unwatchable.

With bubble teams Virginia and Virginia Tech trying to win their way into the NCAA Tournament field, Florida State warming up after a so-so season, multiple teams trying to improve their seeding for the Big Dance, and Duke attempting to sweep the regular season and tournament titles in Coach K’s final season, there is still plenty of reason to tune in and bet on the action.
