Gonzaga has won at least a share of the West Coast Conference regular season title ten seasons in a row. To continue that streak, the #12 Bulldogs will have to defeat #15 Saint Mary’s tonight in the conference finale for both teams (10:00 pm ET, ESPN).
Three weeks ago, Saint Mary’s (25-5, 14-1 WCC) rallied for a 78-70 home win over Gonzaga, which puts them in position to clinch the title outright tonight in Spokane.

Saint Mary’s hasn’t won in Spokane since a 74-71 win in 2018, and none of the four consecutive losses they have taken there have been close.

Tonight’s matchup may end up being closer, but the outcome is likely to be the same.
The Zags haven’t been a dominant force game in, game out, but they are still 5-2 ATS at home in conference play. The one-point loss to Loyola Marymount remains an unsightly blemish, but the only non-cover besides that one is an 88-81 win over BYU.

Anything’s possible, but if Gonzaga is up eight with under seven minutes to go tonight, we won’t see that same outcome play out in Spokane.
This Gonzaga team isn’t at the same level as previous teams, but they are still very, very good, and they will show it tonight.
