#2 Ohio State vs #3 Oregon Predictions

Let’s keep it simple for the biggest game of the week—no need to overthink this matchup. It’s the Ducks. They’ll quack their way to a cover against THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

Oregon is coming off a 31-10 victory over Michigan State, a game they dominated from start to finish. A couple of turnovers kept them from really blowing it open, but they still outgained Sparty by 227 total yards, averaging almost seven yards per play and 5.76 yards on the ground.

The Ducks haven’t been the best at covering spreads this season (1-5), with their lone cover coming in a 49-14 win over Oregon State as 19-point favorites. To be fair, they’ve been facing some high spreads, with five of them at 17.5 or greater, and three over 22.5.

Meanwhile, who has Ohio State really played? Iowa? A team they just used all their energy blowing out? Both teams have faced Michigan State, but beyond that, Ohio State hasn’t played anyone notable.

With a field goal cushion, give me the Ducks and the points. For transparency, I locked in Oregon at +4.5 when the line came out on Sunday.
