- Duke -3 (-110)
- Over/Under 42.5
Florida State vs Duke Prediction: No Side, No Total, Gross Game
My prediction up there says it all. This FSU team was ranked Top 10 in the preseason and have fallen apart. DJ Uiagalelei is not it, and neither is Brock Glenn for that matter. The Seminoles have just 1 win on the year, and with both teams coming off a bye week, I’ve got to side with the short home favorite.
Duke just lost their first game to Georgia Tech on October 5th, so I certainly like them in a bounce back spot, even if they have #21 SMU and #6 Miami the following 2 weeks. After their rest, I would think this Blue Devils team will be able to handle business, against a Florida State team that hasn’t looked complete all year. I’m staying off, but would lean with Duke if you forced my hand.
#2 Oregon vs Purdue Best Bets
Betting Odds
- Oregon -29 (-111)
- Purdue +29 (-109)
- Over/Under 60
Personally, I’ve got no thoughts on this game, other than my Oregon Big Ten Champion ticket in my back pocket! However, our guy, Colby Marchio did a full write-up on this matchup, so dig into his thoughts below.
Oklahoma State vs #13 BYU Best Bets
Betting Odds
- Oklahoma State +9.5 (-116)
- BYU -9.5 (-104)
- Over/Under 52.5
Best Bet: BYU 1H TT Over 16.5 (-110) BetOnline
Get in, get out. That’s what we’re doing late tonight in Provo with the BYU Cougars. They are off to a roaring 6-0 start and host the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Cougars have no problem starting off hot offensively, especially at home. They’ve cleared this line in the 1H of 4/6 games this season and 2/3 at home. Over the past two weeks, the Cougars are averaging 22.5 points per game in the first half, and they face a terrible Cowboys defense.
Oklahoma State is coming off a bye week, but they have failed to slow down opposing offenses, especially on the ground. The Cowboys allowed 31 first half points to West Virginia two weeks ago. Before that, it was 21 to Kansas State on the road and another 10 to Utah.
BYU runs the ball plenty, but they are just as explosive through the air. Jake Retzlaff has over 1,400 passing yards and leads the team with 40 carries for 184 yards on the ground. I have little faith in the Cowboys defense to slow them down at home, and I don’t see them being able to keep up either.
Fresno State vs Nevada Best Bets
Betting Odds
- Fresno State -2.5 (-125)
- Nevada +2.5 (+105)
- Over/Under 49.5
Heavy Lean: Fresno State ML (-150) Bovada
While I’m not taking it, some people I trust are. If you tuned in to Up Your Units with Colby and I like every Friday morning, our special guest, Crutch, was on this play tonight.
The Bulldogs are a decent football team, and after coming off two tough losses, they should be ready to beat up on Nevada. The Wolfpack aren’t that good but are coming off a huge win against Oregon State. Now is the perfect time to buy low on Fresno and sell Nevada who’s won 2 of their last 3. Even being on the road, I like Fresno to move the ball and win this game. Nevada struggles to defend the pass, allowing over 260 yards through the air per contest. I looked at Mikey Keene’s passing yards line but decided to stay off in case the Bulldogs dominate without much need to throw the ball.
