- Louisville -7.5 (-107)
- Boston College +7.5 (-113)
- Over/Under 53.5
Slight Lean: Louisville 1H -4 (-110) BetOnline
Both of these teams are coming off a loss, with the home team having a couple extra days of rest having played last Thursday. Boston College is back at home where they are undefeated this season, while Louisville has struggled on the road. The Cardinals come off a hard fought loss against Miami, and look to bounce back tonight on the road. I think they are capable of doing so, and I think they do so early.
They’ve scored 13+ points in the first half in 3 of their last 4 games, and Boston College has struggled to stop teams early. BC was down 28-0 at halftime last week, they were down 17-7 to Western Kentucky at home, and 13-6 to Michigan State before winning both of those games at home. I like the Louisville offense to produce early and win this first half by at least 4 points. I could see this ending 14-10, or 17-13, something in that realm, so just a lean for me in this game.
#17 Boise State vs UNLV Best Bets
Betting Odds
- Boise State -3.5 (-116)
- UNLV +3.5 (-104)
- Over/Under 63
Slight Lean: Boise State -3.5 (-114) BetOnline
This is a potential Mountain West Conference Championship matchup, as these teams most likely meet again later in the season. But right here, right now, I trust Boise to get the job done. Sure, UNLV has looked rock solid since Sluka stepped away from the team and Hajj-Malik Williams took over as QB1.
They are coming off back to back road wins, but this is a game they certainly have had circled. Ultimately, I trust Boise State to be able to continue their dominance on both sides of the ball, while the Rebels may struggle against an underrated Broncos defense. I also slightly lean with the under, as Joe Public will surely be hammered the over looking at these two offenses on Friday Night. No official bet for me, but watch Boise roll in a low scoring game.
Rutgers vs USC Best Bets
Betting Odds
- Rutgers +14 (-108)
- USC -14 (-112)
- Over/Under 56.5
Best Bet: Woody Marks Over 94.5 Rushing Yards (-114) BetOnline
Woody Marks is a familiar name around these parts, as the guy has cashed for us plenty this season. We are going right back to him as the Trojans are coming off three straight losses, looking to turn things around as they host Rutgers.
The Scarlet Knights traveled over 2,800 miles to get to Los Angeles for this Big Ten matchup, and I think the jet lag could get to them on the defensive side of the ball. Rutgers allows over 5.2 yards per rush this season, and they’ve failed to contain some very dynamic running backs.
RBs vs Rutgers
- Akron: 9 carries, 109 yards, TD
- Va Tech: 15 carries, 122 yards, 3 TDs
- Washington: 16 carries, 148 yards
- Wisconsin: 24 carries, 198 yards, 3 TDs
Marks has cleared 95+ rushing yards in 4/7 games this season, and is running for 5.6 yards per carry. The market price is also around 97.5 or 99.5 yards, so we are getting a great price. In a game where I expect USC to dominate resulting in more touches, Marks should have no problem running for triple digits on the ground tonight.
