The Georgia Bulldogs are back to being one of the top teams in college football each season. They made sure to etch their name into the history books in 2021 by winning the National Championship for the first time since 1980.
They will begin the 2022 season as the #3 team in the country. Alabama and Ohio State narrowly beat them out, but the defending champions are ready to make some noise this season.
The schedule for Georgia is very similar to Alabama’s, as they do not face each other during the regular season. Georgia’s toughest games are in the beginning and end of the season, as they host Oregon in Week 1, and travel to Kentucky towards the end of the year.
2022-23 Georgia Bulldogs Football Schedule
- September 3: #11 Oregon
- September 10: Samford
- September 17: @ South Carolina
- September 24: Kent State
- October 1: @ Missouri
- October 8: Auburn
- October 15: Vanderbilt
- October 29: Florida (Game in Jacksonville)
- November 5: Tennessee
- November 12: @ Mississippi State
- November 19: @ #20 Kentucky
- November 26: Georgia Tech
Georgia is a good value bet as the defending champions this season. They are towards the top of the odds list on BetOnline, only behind Ohio State and Alabama. They also only trail Alabama in SEC betting.

Different Ways to Get Value Out of Betting Georgia
How to bet Georgia is very similar to betting Alabama. Their win total is expected to be north of 10. This is due to the fact that they only play 2 preseason Top 25 teams, and they avoid Alabama on the regular season schedule.
BetOnline has multiple options for future bets so you can get the most value out of your bet. You can bet whether they will win 10+ games, and you can also bet the total win line that currently sits at Over/Under 10.5.
2022-23 NCAA Football Odds to Win 10+ Games
Odds are via BetOnline.
- Alabama -3500
- Ohio State -2000
- Georgia -2000
- Clemson -600
- Cincinnati -135
2022-23 Georgia Bulldogs Football Total Regular Season Win Line
Odds are via BetOnline.
- Over 10.5: -250
- Under 10.5: +210
Neither of these bets truly offers great value, but if you combine the bets (parlay the bet), you could get some better payouts. The Bulldogs have an easier schedule, so winning 11 or 12 games is a very high possibility.
If you pass on that option, consider betting Georgia against the field. It provides higher value than the other bets. That means betting against the field outright will bring you value without having to parlay.
2022-23 Georgia Football vs. the Field Odds
Odds are via BetOnline.
- Georgia: +350
- The Field: -440
2022-23 Georgia Football Predictions
The Bulldogs have a pretty easy route out of the SEC East. Their only real competition from the preseason projections is the Kentucky Wildcats. If they knock them off late in the season, it should secure them a spot in the SEC Championship.
I honestly see a 12-0 season from the Bulldogs. They are recruiting well, and much like Alabama, they can afford to drop a game if an upset happens. The SEC is very difficult to get through as an undefeated team, so everyone is in the same boat.
I expect a rematch of last season’s National Championship between Georgia and Alabama in the SEC Finale. Even though one of those teams will lose, I expect them both to be playing in the College Football Playoff at the end of the season.
I see Georgia in a good position to make the National Championship game again. However, Alabama is just the better team in the SEC, and I have the Crimson Tide winning their second title in three years.
