#10 Michigan vs Washington Predictions
After traveling across the country to face Rutgers on Friday night, the Washington Huskies return home to host the Michigan Wolverines. Although they lost 21-18 to the Scarlet Knights, the Huskies essentially dominated the game, racking up over 500 total yards—more than 200 yards ahead of Rutgers. Known for their strong run game, the Scarlet Knights were outgained on the ground, as Washington piled up 207 rushing yards. Not being able to find the end zone in the first half hurt their chances, and their second-half surge fell short after a missed game-tying field goal.
This week, they take on a Michigan team struggling to pass the ball. Over the last two weeks, the Wolverines have recorded just 118 combined passing yards, including only 32 yards in their victory over USC. Instead, they’ve relied heavily on their ground game, accumulating 445 rushing yards in that span.

Washington currently ranks 34th in rush yards allowed per game (113.5). Given Michigan’s lack of a passing attack and reliance on the run, the Huskies are poised to capitalize on this. They rank 8th in total yards allowed per game, giving up an average of just 249 yards.
I anticipate Michigan facing challenges against the Huskies this weekend. They’ve underperformed all season with a 1-4 ATS record, their only cover coming two weeks ago against USC as 4.5-point dogs. Playing at home in the Big House is usually a gimme, but this will be their first true road test on the other side of the country against a team that should have come out on top in their East Coast loss.
I’m taking Washington on the moneyline.
Prediction: Washington Wins
