Wisconsin vs #13 USC Must Bet Player Props
Must Bet Player Props: Zachariah Branch Over 52.5 Receiving Yards (-114) BetOnline
Zachariah Branch leads the Trojans in catches and receiving yards this season, yet he has not scored a TD. Branch has cleared this receiving line in 2/3 games this year, including a 42 yard catch last week against Michigan. He did not clear this against Utah State, likely because his services were not needed like they were against LSU and Michigan. In this Big Ten contest, I think Moss looks for his number 1 guy early and often.
I see Lincoln Riley establishing some early chemistry between the two in order to find a rhythm coming off a loss. Back at home, the Trojans will be much more comfortable offensively, and should tear apart this Badgers secondary. I think USC absolutely dominates this game, and Branch should be more than involved.
Bonus Bet Player Props: Zachariah Branch Anytime Touchdown (+100) BetOnline
Do your line shopping as always, but we did sprinkle half a unit on Branch to finally find the end zone. He only had 2 TD receptions all year last year, but now he is the clear #1 option for Moss in the passing game, opening up more opportunities. This kid has too much talent to stay out of the end zone for long, and I think he’s in for a huge game this Saturday at home. For more analysis, check out my piece below!
#20 Oklahoma State vs #23 Kansas State Must Bet Player Props
Must Bet Player Props: Two Man Rushing Yards Parlay (+114) BetOnline
We are going with a little two man parlay in this game by watering down both DJ Giddens and Avery Johnson’s rushing yards, as I expect the Wildcats to attack the Cowboys bad rushing defense.
- DJ Giddens 85+ Rushing Yards (-179)
- Avery Johnson 53+ Rushing Yards (-208)
- Two Team Parlay (+114)
We’re pairing these guys together for plus money on a very attainable line. The Cowboys let Utah run for almost 250 yards against them, and I see Kansas State’s rushing attack getting back on track. They will certainly look to take some pressure of Johnson’s arm, allowing him and his RB to make plays with their legs. Kansas State is more than capable of controlling the line of scrimmage in order to open up running room for their backs.
Johnson has cleared 53+ yards in his last two contests, running 28 times for 184 yards in that stretch. He’s going for over 6.5 yards per carry, and he has no problem bailing on the pass and moving the ball down the field by himself. Luckily, he’s got a stud RB back there who will help him.
Giddens has cleared 85+ rushing yards in all 4 games this year, doing so on as little as 13 carries. He’s also running for over 6 yards per carry, and Oklahoma State allows over 4.5 yards per rush. This could be a long day for the Cowboys if these two get going on the ground like I expect. I’ve also got a pick on a team total in this matchup.
