College Football is back for Week 2 and we’ve got our preview full of the best bets for this weekend’s slate!
With the NFL back in action this weekend, we only have games on Friday and Saturday, thus giving us a jam packed slate in a short amount of time.

NCAA Football Week 2 Best Bets
Here is how we stand on betting CFB through two weeks of play.

We hit a couple parlays Saturday so our bankroll is doing fine, but this season is going to be a grind. LSU put us on the red last Sunday, but this week we plan on getting it back and then some.

The Pick: Illinois/KU Over 58 (-105) Bovada
KU put up 48 against Missouri State last Friday while allowing the Bears to score 17 on their own.
The Illini won a close one on a last second FG 30-28 over Toledo.
Clearly neither of these defenses can stop anybody.
I see both teams easily putting up 30, especially with the return of Jalon Daniels at the helm for the Jayhawks.
I think this game is a clear shootout, with the Jayhawks ultimately winning on the last possession.
The spread is too close to call for me, but I love this over and would even parlay it with the Jayhawks ML for +225.

Saturday’s Slate
#14 Utah @ Baylor

The Bears got embarrassed and paid Texas State for a butt-kicking last week. Now they have to face a Utah team that just beat the Florida gators at home.
But without Cam Rising, I’m still not sold on this Utah team.
They haven’t had a road cover outside of the Pac-12 in three seasons, and Dave Aranda and the Bears have experience playing as an underdog.
He does quite well firing this team up, and they are 9-4 ATS in their L13 as a dog under Aranda.
I think the Bears bounce back and keep this one within a touchdown at home, maybe even pulling the outright upset.

The Pick: UNC 1H TT over 20.5 (-120) Bovada
The Tar Heels got out to a bit of a slow start against the South Carolina Gamecocks last Saturday, but they still out up 17 in the 1st half.
I think they can definitely manage three first half touchdowns against Appalachian State.
Last year, this game was basically a pick ‘em and wow, it was a shootout.
UNC won the game 63-61 in Boone, as Maye threw for 352 yards and 4 Touchdowns, while adding 76 yards and another score on the ground.
I like the Tar Heels to come with their foot on the gas in this home opener, and never look back.
Look for Carolina to put up at least 24 in this first half.
SMU @ #20 Oklahoma

The Pick: Oklahoma -15 (-110) Bovada
The Sooner absolutely demolished Arkansas State last weekend, winning 73-0. They easily covered the 36 point spread, and I see them having no issues covering 15 on Saturday.
SMU beat Louisiana Tech last weekend, but they allowed over 300 total yards to an offense that is much inferior to the Sooners.
The Sooners threw for 422 yards last year, and racked up 642 yards of total offense.
I don’t think SMU has the defense to slow the Sooners down, or the offense to keep up in a shootout.
Gimme the Sooners in this game where I think they cover more easily than the total gets over.
