San Diego State vs #15 Boise State Predictions
Forget the sides and totals; we’re focused on one play: betting on Boise State’s electrifying running back, Ashton Jeanty, to go over his rushing yards prop of 171.5. This Heisman hopeful has taken college football by storm, racking up over 1,300 yards in just seven weeks, averaging around 22 rushing attempts per game.
This week, Jeanty faces a San Diego State defense struggling against the run, ranked 27th worst on the road and allowing an average of 206.3 yards per game. Overall, they sit at 92nd in rush defense and have let teams like Wyoming, Cal, and Oregon State each exceed 190 rushing yards. None of those teams compare to Boise State’s impressive average of 263.7 yards per game, which ranks 4th in the nation. For context, Cal is 102nd, Wyoming 94th, and Oregon State 23rd in rushing yards per game.
Jeanty has been a force, averaging nearly 200 yards per game and surpassing 171.5 in five of his seven outings this season, with at least 125 yards in every game. With the spread set at 23.5, this matchup is likely to be one-sided, allowing the Broncos to lean heavily on the run. Here’s hoping Jeanty leads us to victory on the ground!
Prediction: Boise State Wins & Covers
Best Bet: Ashton Jeanty Over 171.5 Rush Yards (-117) on BetOnline
