Washington vs. Iowa Predictions
Back in the heart of the country, Iowa is set to fade yet another storm. This past weekend, Washington stormed the field after upsetting No. 10 Michigan 27-17, but now they have to pack it up and head to the cornfields to take on a Hawkeyes team coming off a devastating 35-7 loss to Ohio State.

This will be Washington’s second road trip out east as a member of the Big Ten, the first being all the way to the East Coast at Rutgers, where they lost 21-18 after missing a potential game-tying field goal at the end. The Huskies are a strong team, but the travel and potential letdown spot could hinder them this weekend.
Iowa’s defense has been lights out against the run, holding opponents to under 100 yards per game, and they’re allowing less than 230 yards through the air. This matchup is likely to be defensively heavy, as Iowa relies heavily on its defense, though their offense has shown more life this season than in years past.
Even with Washington boasting the better offense, they are due for some regression after a tough stretch of games, losing a close one to Rutgers, then bouncing back to beat the reigning national champions. Now, they head to Iowa City to face a Hawkeyes team looking for redemption after last week’s embarrassment. This won’t be an easy game for them.
