See Picks & Statistics For The GameAfter being stunned by the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, the Baltimore Ravens look to get back on track in Chicago against the Bears. Lamar Jackson’s availability is uncertain, but NFL betting odds still have the Ravens as a solid favorite.
The Bears are back in action after a bye week in Week 10. They have lost four straight games, but they were unfortunate to come up short last time out in a wild MNF game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Are the Bears on the verge of figuring it out? They may not be, because Matt Nagy is still Matt Nagy. But even if Jackson is able to play, are the Bears the move to make in this matchup?

Backing the Ravens? Jackson’s Uncertain Status Not the Only Concern
Waiting until Jackson’s status is more certain is the best thing to do if you have the time to do so. But if you must make your NFL wagers before any definitive news is released, I suggest focusing on other options. With nine games in the 1:00 p.m. ET time slot, your options are plentiful.
But if you insist on wagering on this game, the Ravens haven’t done much to warrant significant support. The Ravens are 0-3 ATS as a road favorite and 1-6 ATS as a favorite overall this season. As a favorite of five or more points, the Ravens are 3-2 SU but 0-5 ATS.
The Bears don’t have sparkling numbers, coming in at 2-5 ATS and 1-6 SU as an underdog this season. But I like the trajectory Justin Fields is on despite Nagy’s continued presence. He had a season-high 291 passing yards against the Steelers and nearly led the Bears to a win. Coming out of the bye week, he should be well-rested physically and dialed in to take on this game and the rest of the season.
The Ravens are last in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game (283.3) and 29th in yards allowed per pass attempt (8.1). It might be asking a little much of Nagy to put Fields in the best possible position to take advantage of that. But as we are starting to see more, Fields has an abundance of both talent and physical gifts and is gradually getting more and more adept at using them at the NFL level. Will he guide the Bears to a win? I wouldn’t go that far, but look for continued comfort to keep the Bears in it for the duration.
Baltimore Ravens vs Chicago Bears Best Bet
I highly recommend avoiding given the options available elsewhere. But if you must, Fields and the Bears are worth a sprinkle even if Jackson is a go for the Ravens.
