The NFL Week 12 schedule ends with an NFC North rivalry as the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings collide at U.S. Bank Stadium for a Monday Night Football showdown.
The Bears could sure use a win after dropping to 1-3 in their last four games with last week’s 31-26 loss to the Detroit Lions. Meanwhile, the Vikings hope to return to the win column after a 27-19 loss to the Denver Broncos stopped their winning streak at five games.
Bovada sees these rival teams as long shots to win Super Bowl LVIII in February. Minnesota sits at +6000 odds (10th) to go on a championship run while Chicago is an even longer shot at +100000 (T-27th).

Bears vs Vikings Prediction & Best Bet: NFL Week 12 MNF
Tonight’s MNF collision marks the second and final Bears vs. Vikings clash of the 2023 NFL season. The rivals previously met at Soldier Field in Week 6, resulting in a 19-13 win for Minnesota despite Chicago controlling the ball for 58.6% of the game.
Having said that, losing to the Vikings isn’t a new feeling for the Bears. After all, Minnesota has won five straight matchups in this rivalry, outscoring Chicago by an average of 10.2 points while covering the spread four times.
On top of that, the Bears haven’t won at U.S. Bank Stadium since December 2020.
The Week 6 victory over the Bears also kickstarted the Vikings’ five-game winning streak. Kevin O’Connell’s team looked great during that run, scoring an average of 24.6 PPG while holding all but one of those opponents to 19 or fewer points.
The Bears also haven’t been all that great outside of the Windy City, owning a 1-5 SU road record ahead of tonight’s clash. Even worse is the fact that Chicago owns a minus-8.3 average scoring margin on the road (8th-worst) while Minnesota sits at a plus-6.5 following back-to-back home wins over the 49ers and Saints.
Even with star wideout Justin Jefferson ‘unlikely’ to suit up tonight, the Vikings shouldn’t have an issue putting up points on a Bears defense that has allowed 28.3 PPG in three consecutive road losses.

The Vikings’ attack seems to have improved since QB Joshua Dobbs came to town, which is why I’m taking them to win at home tonight. Not only do they have the Bears’ number, but they’re the better team on both sides of the ball this season. Given Chicago’s road struggles, I just don’t see an upset happening.
Also, take the favorites to cover the spread. The Vikings are 6-0 ATS at home this season and 4-1 ATS in their last five encounters with the Bears, who’ve failed to cover in 12 of their last 14 divisional matchups. There’s no reason why Minnesota can’t win by more than a field goal tonight.

Bears vs Vikings Best Bet: MIN -3 (-105 on Bovada)
Best Bears vs Vikings Player Prop: NFL Week 12 MNF
For the best Bears vs. Vikings player prop, I’m looking for Jordan Addison to score a touchdown under the bright Monday night lights.
The Vikings’ rookie WR has been terrific throughout the campaign, registering seven touchdowns through his first 11 career games. He tends to play better at home, finding the back of the end zone four times in five outings at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Addison now gets to face the Bears, who are tied for allowing the fourth-most TDs to wideouts this season. Considering how the 21-year-old scored one of those touchdowns back in Week 6, I like his odds to score again.
Best Bears vs Vikings Player Prop: Jordan Addison Anytime Touchdown (+185 on Bovada)
