Bengals vs. Steelers Prediction: The Terrible Towels Will Be Waving

The Cincinnati Bengals travel to the Steel City to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC North showdown.

The Bengals are coming off of their Bye week after getting a dominant win against the Panthers at home.

RB Joe Mixon had a whopping 5 TDs against the Panthers, one of the best single game performances in history.

I don’t expect Mixon to have 5 TDs again this week against the Steelers, but the Bengals will for sure get the ball in Mixon’s hands however possible.

The Steelers will do everything they can to stop Mixon and this Bengals offense led by Joe Burrow.

The Bengals will also be looking to get some revenge here, as they fell to the Steelers in week 1, 23-20.

It might prove difficult.

The Steelers have played solid defence the past few weeks, controlling the Saints on Sunday and holding them to 10 points.

QB Kenny Pickett has looked better and more comfortable every week since taking over as the starter.

He has given the Steelers offense a boost, and Najee Harris is enjoying a bit more success recently as well.

Predicting a winner in a tough divisional matchup is always challenging but this week, is there a side that has to be taken in this one?

I know that the Bengals just put up a 40 spot on the Panthers 2 weeks ago, but that isn’t going to happen this week.

This game is going to have vintage AFC North division rivalry vibes, as Acrisure Stadium (formerly Heinz Field) will be rocking and hostile.

The Steelers know that they need to pick up a win here to stay afloat this season. The Bengals are going to come out swinging as well but I predict a close one here.

Give me the Steelers with the points in what should be a dog fight.
