See Picks & Statistics For The GameTime has been flying by as we’re already approaching Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season. Another slate of exciting matchups is right around the corner, including a contest filled with offensive potential as Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills travel to take on Lamar Jackson and his Baltimore Ravens.
The Bills’ undefeated season came to an end last week in their 21-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo was without its starting secondary in the loss, meaning some of those players need to return if the Bills hope to have a chance at slowing down their opponent’s offense.
On the other hand, the Ravens secured an impressive 37-26 victory over the New England Patriots in Week 3. As usual, Jackson did the majority of the heavy lifting in the victory, tossing out five touchdown passes while also running the ball 11 times for 107 yards and another TD.
Betting News has gathered the latest Bills vs Ravens odds from BetOnline Sportsbook to help shed some light on the situation, along with a prediction and best bets for the NFL Week 4 game.

This week marks the first Bills-Ravens meeting since the 2021 playoffs. Allen and Jackson are two of the top quarterbacks in the league, so it’s understandable that this is the game of the week for a lot of fans.
Having said that, the weather could play a factor in the meeting. Bills head coach Sean McDermott said on Monday that the remnants of Hurricane Ian could impact the upcoming matchup with rain and wind, which could affect the passing game and special teams units.
Fortunately, both teams have extremely mobile quarterbacks to make up for any hits that the passing attacks take. Allen has already rushed the ball 19 times for 113 yards and a touchdown while Jackson has turned his 26 carries into 243 rushing yards and a pair of TDs.
If there isn’t any significant rain or wind, I do expect Buffalo’s offense to look better than it did in Week 3. As good as the Ravens can be, they’ve given up 64 points over the last two weeks, which is promising for a Bills attack that boasts playmakers like Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis.
And even though the Ravens own a dynamic offense, the Bills defense is no joke. Buffalo has the fourth-best scoring defense thus far, allowing only 12.7 points per game.
What’s even more impressive is how that clip was accomplished despite the fact that the Bills have played the Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans — three teams with talented offenses.
It’s just hard imagining the Bills losing back-to-back games. Can the Ravens win? Absolutely. Jackson is potentially having another MVP campaign and can lead his team up against the top juggernauts of the NFL — Buffalo included.
However, the Bills have proven to have the better defensive unit up to this point. If Hurricane Ian’s aftermath winds up being a factor, Buffalo’s stout defense could give McDermott’s squad the edge.
Having said that, I do expect the Ravens to keep things close throughout the game, hence why I’m backing them on the spread.
The unpredictability of the weather also has me siding with the total finishing under 51.5 points. Jackson and Allen have faced off twice in their careers and despite both being extremely talented, the average total for those two meetings is only 30.5 points.
While this game will still be a joy to watch, don’t expect a shootout unless the weather clears up.
