Broncos vs. Jaguars Prediction & Best Bets (NFL Week 8 – London)

Week 8 features another game in the United Kingdom as the Denver Broncos take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Wembley Stadium in London.

I have actually been to a game in Wembley in 2019 when the Titans lost to the Chargers and let me just say, they are awesome.

The crowd is electric, Wembley is a great arena to enjoy any sporting event, and the NFL does an awesome job putting on a show.

This game should be no different, even if both of these team aren’t off to the best starts.

The Denver Broncos have struggled to get going all season and their offense is just putrid.

Russell Wilson hasn’t brought any flash as of yet and is banged up. It is looking like he will play this week after not playing last week but worth monitoring his status as the week goes on.

Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett is on the hot seat and there are rumblings that if the Broncos lose this game, he could be flying back from London unemployed.

Either way, the Broncos have struggled in the US and I don’t see that drastically changing in the UK.

The Jaguars have looked better this season but their record doesn’t show it. They lost on the last play of the game in back to back games, against the Giants and the Colts so luck has not been on their side.

The Jags also just traded Running Back James Robinson to the Jets.

Travis Etienne is set to be the lead back for Jacksonville moving forward and I think this will be a huge boost for him and the Jags. I will touch on that more later.

Prediction

I have told myself that I will not bet on the Broncos again this season and that rings true here. I have zero belief in this team and their offense.

The Jaguars are also hard to back but they’re offense does have some spark, with Trevor Lawrence running the show and Travis Etienne getting a full work load now.

Give me the Jags with the points here to get a win in their second home, Jolly Ole’ England.
