See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe 2022 NFL season is near its end as Week 14 is finally upon us. The Cleveland Browns will be visiting the Cincinnati Bengals for an AFC North battle on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. With the pair looking to catch the Baltimore Ravens for first place in the division, it’s clear that the upcoming Browns vs Bengals showdown is a must-win contest for both teams.
The Browns enter the week fresh off a 27-14 victory over the Houston Texans. Quarterback Deshaun Watson didn’t look anything special in his first start as a Brown, leaving time to tell if he’ll be able to get his feet under him in time to take on Cincinnati.
Meanwhile, the Bengals were also victorious in a clash with the Kansas City Chiefs, winning 27-24 after a strong second-half performance. The victory marked the Bengals’ fourth win in a row and now they return to Paycor Stadium, where they’re 4-1 this season.
Betting News has gathered the latest Browns vs Bengals odds from BetOnline Sportsbook to help shed some light on the situation, along with a prediction and best bets for the NFL Week 14 game.

Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals Prediction and Picks
Browns vs Bengals Prediction: Bengals 28, Browns 21
Browns vs Bengals Picks: Browns -6 (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline) & Over 47.5 Points (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline)
The last time these AFC North foes met was back in Week 8 on Halloween night. The Browns caught the Bengals off guard with a 25-0 start to the game, eventually winning by a final score of 32-13.
Winning again won’t be that easy, though. The blowout loss seems to have lit a fire beneath the Bengals considering how they haven’t lost a game since then, beating their last four opponents by an average margin of 8.8 points.
Another thing that could affect this week's outcome is that the Browns no longer have Jacoby Brissett under center. The journeyman QB went 17-of-22 in the pocket for 278 passing yards and a touchdown against the Bengals six weeks ago.
Brissett has been replaced by the returning Watson, who struggled in his 2022 debut. The three-time Pro-Bowler completed just 12 of his 22 passing attempts for 131 yards and an interception against the Texans.
Now, Watson must face a Cincinnati secondary that only allows 193.4 passing yards per game at home (No. 8). Cleveland might be inclined to turn to its top-tier run game if Watson falters earlier on, however, it’s also worth pointing out that the Bengals also allow the sixth-fewest rushing yards at home (93.8).
It’s also going to be interesting to see if the Browns can stop the Bengals’ surging offense. After all, Cincinnati’s 31.5 PPG clip over its four-game winning streak ranks third-best in the NFL over that stretch. Meanwhile, Cleveland is tied for owning the eighth-worst road scoring defense in the league this season (25.7 PPG).
Bengals QB Joe Burrow has played a huge role in his team’s recent success. The third-year gunslinger has racked up 1,117 passing yards and eight touchdowns with two interceptions in his last four starts. He does have four INTs in his last three outings against the Browns, leaving time to tell if he can continue his solid play against them.
At the end of the day, the Bengals are the hotter team and I don’t expect them to lose this weekend. The Browns’ offense really struggled with the Texans at times and Watson doesn’t look like he’s in the right shape to go toe-to-toe with Burrow and co. in a shootout.
As far as best bets go, I’m taking Cincinnati to cover the 6-point spread. The last 16 Browns vs Bengals matchups have seen Cincinnati cover the spread 12 times. With Cincinnati also owning a plus-10.2 scoring margin at home (No. 4) and Cleveland being a minus-3.5 on the road (No. 16), I can easily see Zac Taylor’s team winning by at least a touchdown.
I’m also backing the total going over 47.5 points. The total has gone over in each of the last six meetings between the AFC North rivals, averaging a total of 55.3 points while surpassing 47.5 points in all but one of those outings.
