See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe 3-5-1 Indianapolis Colts travel to Las Vegas to take on the reeling 2-6 Raiders in an AFC showdown.
The Colts’ season went from bad to worse this week as it was announced that Head Coach Frank Reich would be fired, effective immediately.
While this isn’t shocking news, given how poorly the Colts have played, it still creates drama and shows that Colts are full on pressing the reset button.
They immediately started Operation: Damage Control and hired former player and Indy fan favorite Jeff Saturday to be the Interm HC for the rest of the season.
Many things about this hire don’t make a lot of sense but that’s an argument for a different piece so I will just leave it at this.
The Colts are bad, on and off the field, and they aren’t getting any better.
The Raiders are going to look to take advantage on Sunday.
The Raiders haven’t been much better than the Colts, and their blown 17 point lead against the Jaguars last week puts an exclamation point on that point.
The Raiders just can’t seem to put it all together for a full 60 minutes and because of that, they are 2-6 and their season is almost over before it even truly got started.
In this battle of two franchises at crossroads off the field, who will come out on top on the field?

Prediction
It’s hard picking between these two teams that are dealing with so many issues, on and off the field.
Our Predictions page is 80% on the Colts and the points, which I can see the logic behind.
But I have watched the Colts too many games to feel good about them covering here.
The Raiders are just straight up the better team, especially offensively.
I think they come out, at home, and put their foot on the gas and torch the Colts.
It’s now or never for both of these teams, and I am picking the better team, at home.
Best Bet
Raiders -6 (-110)
