Week 15 of the 2023 NFL season is loaded with big-time matchups, but few are on the level of Sunday afternoon’s collision between the Dallas Cowboys (10-3) and Buffalo Bills (7-6) at Highmark Stadium.
The Cowboys have been on a roll, extending their winning streak to five with last week’s massive 33-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bills, meanwhile, are coming off a 20-17 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs that saw RB James Cook lead the way with 138 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 15 touches.
There’s a good chance that these two teams will face off again under football’s brightest lights in February. BetOnline has Dallas listed with the fourth-best odds to win Super Bowl LVIII while Buffalo sits seventh at +1600.
Nevertheless, the Super Bowl is still a ways away. In the meantime, this betting preview has everything you need to know regarding the upcoming clash, including my Cowboys vs Bills prediction and best bets.

Cowboys vs Bills Prediction & Best Bet: NFL Week 15
You’d be hard-pressed to find a team hotter than the Cowboys at the moment.
They’ve truly put things together during their winning streak, scoring 40.2 PPG along the way while outscoring those opponents by an average margin of 23.2. Is it sustainable? Maybe not, but don’t count on America’s Team slowing down any time soon — especially if Dak Prescott continues his current level of play.
Prescott has been near-perfect during his team’s latest run. The 30-year-old gunslinger has completed 68.1% of his passes for 1,494 passing yards and 15 touchdowns to one interception over the last five games. In fact, he’s gone his last four starts without throwing a single pick.
While the Bills are coming off a hard-fought victory over the Chiefs, time will tell if they can establish some consistency. After all, Buffalo hasn’t won consecutive games in over two months, having not done so since Weeks 3 and 4.
Additionally, it isn’t like the Bills’ latest win was all that perfect. Buffalo likely would’ve lost to Kansas City had WR Kadarius Toney not been offside, which called back a Chiefs TD. It’s just hard to have a ton of faith in a team that hasn’t had a full 60-minute performance in a long time outside of Week 11’s 32-6 win over the New York Jets.
The Cowboys, on the other hand, have done a good job at giving it their all for an entire game. Four of their last five victories came by margins of at least 20 points while also holding those opponents to 17 or fewer. Even with injuries to key players like Trevon Diggs, Malik Hooker, and others throughout the season, Dallas has found a way to prevail.
The odds are in the Bills’ favor, but I’m taking the Cowboys to pull off the upset at Highmark Stadium. Dallas is playing great football as of late, whereas Buffalo is inconsistent at best and it’s at the point where you never know which version of the Bills you’ll see on any given Sunday.
The visitors are also a good pick for spread betting. After all, the Cowboys are not only 4-1 ATS in their last five games, but they’ve also covered in five of their seven previous outings on a Sunday. On the flip side, the Bills are only 2-7 ATS in their last seven outings and have only covered once in their five most recent home games.

Best Cowboys vs Bills Player Prop: NFL Week 15
As far as the best Cowboys vs. Bills player prop goes, how can you go against a CeeDee Lamb anytime touchdown?
The fourth-year wideout has been money for the Cowboys this season, recording eight touchdowns through 13 games — just one back of his career high. After a somewhat slower start to the year, Lamb now has seven touchdowns in his last seven games and has now found the end zone five consecutive outings.
There’s a good chance that he’ll be productive, once again, come Sunday. The Bills are tied for allowing the ninth-most TDs to wideouts in 2023 and have allowed six passing TDs in their last five home games. In other words, expect business as usual from Lamb.
