See Picks & Statistics For The GameThere are only four weeks remaining in the 2022 NFL regular season as we arrive at Week 15. The Dallas Cowboys will be on the road this week when they face the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both sides are trending in opposite directions, leaving many wondering how this Cowboys vs Jaguars clash will unfold.
The Cowboys are on fire, having won each of their last four games. Their latest win was a 27-23 comeback effort against the Houston Texans, led by the running back duo of Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard combining for 143 scrimmages yards and three touchdowns on 32 touches (25 carries, seven catches).
Meanwhile, the Jaguars were also victorious last week, taking advantage of a banged-up Tennessee Titans squad to pick up a 36-22 win. Trevor Lawrence looked like a man possessed under center, going 30-of-42 in the pocket for 368 yards and a trio of touchdowns.

Dallas Cowboys vs Jacksonville Jaguars Prediction and Picks
Cowboys vs Jaguars Prediction: Cowboys 28, Jaguars 23
Cowboys vs Jaguars Picks: Cowboys -4.5 (Best Value: -115 at BetOnline) & Over 47.5 Points (Best Value: -112 at BetOnline)
As mentioned before, the Cowboys have been one of the NFL’s hottest teams over the last month or so. They’ve been completely outmatching opponents over their recent run, outscoring them 149 to 65 over that stretch — or by an average of about 21 points.
Last week’s win over the Texans wasn’t by a margin that the Cowboys would’ve liked, but that’s negligible considering how Dallas also has blowouts over the Indianapolis Colts (54-19) and Minnesota Vikings (40-3) in its last four games.
The Jaguars might be turning things around with three wins in their last five outings, but they still have a lot to prove. Although their Week 12 comeback win against the Baltimore Ravens was impressive, the other victories in that span came against the struggling Las Vegas Raiders and injury-plagued Titans.
Needless to say, the Jaguars will need to bring their A-game to beat the Cowboys. Not only does Mike McCarthy’s squad have the third-best offense in the league (27.7 PPG), but the Cowboys also allow the third-fewest points (17.6 PPG).
Speaking of Dallas’ defense, Lawrence will likely be under pressure all afternoon. The Cowboys have the second-most sacks (48) in the NFL, led by the likes of Micah Parsons (12.0) and Dorance Armstrong Jr. (8.0). Though the Jaguars have allowed the fifth-fewest sacks (23), the offensive line can’t afford to make mistakes against one of the top pass rush units.
I also don’t know if the Jaguars’ defense can stop the Cowboys’ attack. The Dak Prescott-led offense has scored at least 27 points in each of the last six games, hitting over 40 in three of those outings.
Jacksonville’s defense has been in the middle of the pack for most of the season, but the 29.7 PPG clip that it’s been allowing over the last three games ranks sixth-worst in the NFL over that stretch.
The Jaguars have also allowed an average of 133.0 rushing yards in their last three outings, making it likely that Elliott and Pollard will have plenty of opportunities to succeed. With Jacksonville having also surrendered the fourth-most receiving yards to RBs as well, Pollard is looking particularly dangerous.
At the end of the day, this is shaping up to be a game that just isn’t in the Jaguars’ favor. They’re a promising young team with their best days ahead of them, however, the Cowboys are in “win now” mode and will get the job done this weekend.
The Cowboys are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 road games, so covering the 4.5-point spread shouldn’t be an issue. It also helps that they have the second-best road scoring margin (plus-8.8), whereas the Jaguars are just a plus-3.8 at home.
I also see the total surpassing 47.5 points. Not only has the total gone over in five of Dallas’ last six games, but it’s also done so in each of the last five Cowboys vs Jaguars matchups. With both sides looking to close out the regular season on a hot note, brace for a fair amount of points on the board.
