See Picks & Statistics For The GameAs the temperature begins to drop, we’ve finally reached Week 10 of the 2022 NFL season. There’s something for everyone this week, including a matchup between two teams heading in opposite directions as the slumping Green Bay Packers host the surging Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys have been one of the top teams this season, going 6-1 in their last seven games with that sole loss coming from the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. Nevertheless, momentum is clearly on Dallas’ side after a huge 49-29 victory against the Chicago Bears last week.
Meanwhile, the Packers’ losing streak reached five games after their 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 9. It was a disastrous team performance where quarterback Aaron Rodgers went 23-of-43 in the pocket, throwing 291 passing yards and a touchdown with three interceptions.
Betting News has gathered the latest Cowboys vs Packers odds from BetOnline Sportsbook to help shed some light on the situation, along with a prediction and best bets for the NFL Week 10 game.

Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers Prediction and Picks
Cowboys vs Packers Prediction: Cowboys 24, Packers 16
Cowboys vs Packers Picks: Cowboys -5 (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline) & Under 42.5 Points (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline)
The Packers have owned the Cowboys for most of recent history. As proven by the above trends, Green Bay has won eight of its last nine meetings with Dallas. Unfortunately, though, this isn’t the same Green Bay team as in past years.
The Packers are a complete mess this fall. Not only have they lost five consecutive games, but they’ve only averaged 15.8 points over that span while giving up 23.8.
Rodgers has done the best that he can with the weapons around him, but it just hasn’t been good enough. Over his last five games, the four-time NFL MVP has completed 116-of-188 passes for 1,156 yards, eight TDs and four interceptions. In fact, all the quartet of INTs came over the last two games alone.
It doesn’t look like the Packers’ offensive woes will soon, either. Wideouts Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson are dealing with an ankle injury and concussion, respectively, while running back Aaron Jones is also dealing with an ankle-related issue.
Missing any of those players will make it tough to face the Cowboys’ defense, which only allows 16.6 points (No. 3) and 313.5 total yards (No. 10) per game. Furthermore, their 13 takeaways this season (six fumbles, seven INTs) are tied for eighth-most in the league.
Dallas’ offense is also starting to click at the right time. The unit has scored 73 total points in the two games since QB Dak Prescott returned from injury, with both games resulting in victories. Prescott looked great in those outings, completing 76.9% of passes for 457 passing yards, three TDs and an interception.
Based on how both teams have been playing, it’s much easier to trust the Cowboys with a win. It certainly helps that they’re 10-2 against the spread in their last 12 road contests, whereas the Packers are 1-5 ATS in their last six games and 1-3 ATS at Lambeau Field this season.
Considering how the Lions’ league-worst defense held the Packers to just nine points last week, I can see the Cowboys covering the five-point spread on the road. At the end of the day, Green Bay is just the worse team on both sides of the ball.
I also recommend backing the under on the 42.5-point total if you’re looking for extra action. Dallas combined for the under in seven of its last 10 games, while the total has hit the under in 14 of Dallas’ last 20 outings. Furthermore, five of the last six Cowboys vs Packers matchups at Lambeau Field have also hit the under.
With the Packers’ lethargic offense meeting the Cowboys’ stout defense, count on the under being hit yet again.
