There are 2 weeks left in the season and 1 week left in 2022.
We’re in the home stretch of what has been entertaining NFL season and Week 17 will surely deliver even more drama.
It all starts on Thursday Night Football, as the Dallas Cowboys come to music City to take on the sliding Titans.
Here is analysis, a game prediction and a MUST BET Player Prop.
Dallas coming for that Number One Spot
The Cowboys are cruising right now.
They picked up a huge NFC East win against the Eagles last weekend, 40-34 and have now won 5 of their last 6 games.
If the Cowboys win their last 2 games and the Eagles lose their last 2 games, they could win the division and could be the top seed in the NFC.
Funny how quickly things can change in the NFL, eh?
The offense has been rolling, scoring 27 points in 6 straight games and it is partly due to the connection between QB Dak Prescott and WR CeeDee Lamb.
Lamb has 70+ yards in 4 of his last 5 and 100+ in 2 straight games. He has been a big play waiting to happen and that has led to this explosive run the Cowboys are currently on.
On a short week, traveling to Nashville, the Boys will be licking their chops looking at this Titans team and ready to come out firing.
Speaking of the Titans…
5 Losses in a Row Ain’t Good
The Titans are not sliding right now.
They’re free-falling.
And I know this because they are the team that I follow and it has been painful to endure.
Injuries have devastated this team, and it just feels like nothing can go right for them right now.
Against the Texans last week, the Titans were up 4 and moving the ball in the 4th quarter, looking for the kill shot, as Derrick Henry fumbled to give the Texans life.
The Texans went on to score and win the game, burying the Titans with another AFC loss and a divisional loss.
It’s tough sledding right now for this team but their season is going to come down to their Week 18 matchup with the Jaguars for the division crown and a playoff birth.
Given that and the fact that the Titans are, as I mentioned, incredibly banged up, will the Titans truly go for it against the Cowboys?
Or will we see lots of backups and a bit more of a preseason game vibe to ensure maximum health for Week 18?
In this Thursday Night Football interesting matchup, will the Cowboys put the hammer down on the Titans early or will the Titans show some life and play like they want to stop the bleeding before it’s too late?

Prediction
Earlier this week, it wasn’t sure whether or not the Titans would rest their starters and just save everyone for their season-making game against the Jaguars in Week 18.
We now have confirmation that is for sure the case, with very few starters playing, Derrick Henry sitting and it just came out that Josh Dobbs will start at QB for the Titans over Malik Willis.
The Titans are totally punting on this game, as they should, and this is a Cowboys blowout in the making.
This game could get ugly, as I think the Cowboys give the Titans the business at home and win by 20+.
Best Bet
Cowboys -13.5 (-115)
Bonus:
Cowboys -21.5 (+230)
Prop of the Game
Dak Prescott o19.5 Completions (-130)
This is my favorite prop in this game that could honestly get very ugly. But if the game does get ugly, it’s because Prescott and the Cowboys poured it on early and often.
I talked about this prop on MORNING COFFEE this morning on our Twitch channel so go check that out via the link below!
Prescott has 20+ completions in 8 straight games and gets a great matchup tonight agains the Titans, who allow the most passing yards in the NFL.
They also have allowed 8 straight passing attacks to throw for 20+ completions.
The Cowboys are going to attack the Titans through the air and that should lead to lots of chances for Dak to hit this with ease.
