Sunday’s NFL Week 15 slate was filled with blowouts and upsets over the weekend. Now it’s time for the current slate of games to come to a close as the Philadelphia Eagles go one-on-one with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football.
Both teams head into this matchup with losing streaks of their own. The Eagles are coming off back-to-back losses for the first time this season, most recently falling 33-13 to the Dallas Cowboys. Meanwhile, the Seahawks’ 28-16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers last week marked their fourth consecutive defeat.

Eagles vs Seahawks Prediction & Best Bet: NFL Week 15 MNF
Time will tell which version of the Eagles we’ll see tonight.
On one hand, Philadelphia proved early this season that it’s a Super Bowl contender, having defeated the likes of Dallas, Kansas City, Buffalo, and Miami. On the other hand, the Eagles have been destroyed convincingly in back-to-back outings, getting outscored by the Cowboys and 49ers by an average of 21.5 points.
While a bounce-back performance is certainly possible, it’ll be easier said than done if Jalen Hurts doesn’t play. The Eagles quarterback is questionable due to an illness that worsened throughout Sunday, leaving his Monday Night Football status up in the air.
Since Hurts was drafted 53rd overall in 2020, the Eagles are only 1-4 SU when he’s missed time.
The Seahawks also have some issues under center as QB Geno Smith will be a game-time decision due to a groin injury. The same ailment held him out of last week’s lopsided loss to the 49ers, meaning Drew Lock will likely get the start for the second straight week if Smith is sidelined once more.
Lock is 0-4 as a starter since 2021 and hasn’t won a start since Dec. 13, 2020.
But regardless of who’s Seattle’s starting QB tonight, it won’t matter if the defense can’t stop the visitors from scoring the ball. The Seahawks are allowing a 29.3 PPG clip during their four-game skid while the average of 438.3 yards they’ve surrendered over the last three games ranks second-worst in the NFL during that span, only trailing… the Eagles at 451.7.
Nevertheless, the Eagles are 5-2 SU (4-2-1 ATS) on the road this season and have won two of their last three games when they were the visitors. While the Seahawks are a solid 4-2 SU at Lumen Field, they covered the spread just twice in those contests.
In a game where both teams look vulnerable, I’m taking the Eagles on the road. Yes, they haven’t been close to perfect lately, but they’re still Super Bowl contenders and shouldn’t be losing to a sub-.500 team like the Seahawks at this point in the season. Seattle looks like it’s given up judging by the last few games, so look for Philadelphia to get back on track tonight.
As for the best bet, I like the Over on the 45-point total due to how poorly both defenses have played. The Eagles have surrendered 33-plus points in each of the last three games while the Seahawks allowed at least 28 in their most recent trio. Considering how both sides have allowed the most total yards over the last few weeks, too, there should be plenty of scoring at Lumen Field.

Best Eagles vs Seahawks Player Prop: NFL Week 15 MNF
I’m feeling good about D’Andre Swift finishing with more than 57.5 rushing yards as my best Eagles vs. Seahawks player prop.
The Eagles RB has been productive on the ground in 2023, averaging a career-high 63.2 rushing yards per game. While he’s finished with the Under on this prop in back-to-back games, I see Swift’s luck changing. After all, he gets to face the Seahawks, who allow the ninth-most rushing yards and have surrendered at least 127 in six of the last eight games — including 169-plus in two of the last three.
If Hurts is out, Philadelphia will likely feed Swift the ball even more, further improving his odds of finishing with the Over.
