Giants vs. Jaguars Prediction, Picks, Prop Bets – NFL Week 7

The 5-1 New York Football Giants head down south to take on the 2-4 Jacksonville Jaguars in a cross-conference battle.

The Giants came out last week and defeated the Ravens as home underdogs after everyone had written them off.

I think it is time to take the Giants seriously as a good, hard-nose football team that is going to be around all season and could flirt with the playoffs.

Saquon has returned to his star form from a few seasons ago and as he goes, so do the Giants.

Daniel Jones is doing a nice job running this offense and Head Coach Brain Daboll seems to be the perfect hire to lead this team to success in the short term and the long term.

On the other side, the Jaguars started their season looking like possible contenders in the AFC South.

They have come back down to earth since then, losing three straight games and looking more like the Jaguars of year’s past.

Trevor Lawrence has looked good in spurts but still is yet to be consistent, which is the reason the Jags aren’t as well.

On the bright side, Rookie running back Travis Etienne has looked explosive the past 2 weeks, still sharing snaps with James Robinson.

I could see Etienne getting more and more touches going forward if he continues to play with the explosion he has shown the past couple weeks (more on that later).

Will the Giants upset the Jags in sunny Jacksonville on Sunday?

PREDICTION

The books continue to disrespect the Giants and I still don’t really understand why.

This line should be a pick ‘em given how both of these teams play and their recent form. If it is a trap, I am willing to fall for it here.

Give me the Giants and the points as I think they win outright in Jacksonville. If you want to go for the extra value on the money line, go for it.

I am taking the points just in case.

TRAVIS ETIENNE o68.5 RUSH/REC YARDS (-114)

Like I mentioned earlier, Etienne has looked explosive the past two weeks and is slowly beginning to take more and more snaps from James Robinson.

I think it will stay a time-share in the backfield this season, but Etienne is still making the most of his touches.

He has gone over his Rush/Receiving yards line in three out of the last four and has 100+ in the last 2.

Love the value for a good day from Etienne.
