The 3-6 Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Arrowhead to take on Patrick Mahomes and the 6-2 Kansas City Chiefs.
The Jaguars are coming off one of their better recent performances, coming back from down 17 to beat the Raiders 27-20.
RB Travis Etienne has been superb since becoming the lead back 3 weeks ago. He has gone over 100 yards in 3 straight games and looks like he is going to be a handful moving forward.
He’s been one of the best in the business the past month and has given the Jags a huge lift on the offensive side of the ball.
QB Trevor Lawrence has had moments of brilliance mixed in with moments of mediocrity.
A steady, explosive running game will take some of the pressure off of Lawrence and will allow him to continue to develop into the franchise QB the Jags have so desperately needed.
On the other side, the Chiefs have their stud and he is the reason they edged the Titans last week on Sunday Night football.
QB Patrick Mahomes put the Chiefs on his back, and willed them to victory against the pesky Titans and their stellar defense.
It was a vintage Mahomes masterclass, and we should expect nothing less moving forward.
There was some concerns about the Chiefs offense this season with the departure of star WR Tyreek Hill.
Those concerns, it seems, were foolish as HC Andy Reid, OC Eric Bienemy and Mahomes have the Chiefs’ offense top of the league in points per game, at a cool 30.4.
The Chiefs are cruising and get a nice matchup this week against the Jaguars.
Can Pat put up another MVP-type performance and roll all over the Jags?
Or will Etienne run wild again and keep the Chiefs on their heels?

- Chiefs -9.5 (-110)

- Under 50.5 (-110)
Prediction
I do feel pretty confident in the Chiefs to cover the spread here and win by 10 plus but that isn’t my favorite bet in this game.
The Chiefs offense got frustrated last week against the Titans but make no mistake.
They are capable of scoring, and scoring ALOT.
As I mentioned, they are the number one scoring offense in the league.
The Jaguars aren’t bad either, sitting at 13th at 22 points per game.
They have also scored 17+ in 4 straight, which is mostly due to the explosive plays from Etienne in the run game.
Both of these defenses aren’t world beaters and should allow for some big plays on both sides.
OUR PICKS PAGE is split on this, 2 on the over and 2 on the under.
Give me the over in highest total on the board.
Let’s get a whole lot of touchdowns.
Best Bet
Over 50.5 (-110)
Props
Travis Etienne o80.5 Rush Yards (-110)
I am surprised this number is only 80.5.
Etienne has been rolling, hitting this yards line in 4 straight games and has 100+ in 3 straight.
The Chiefs allow o103 yards per game on the ground and 132 Ypg in their last 3.
Expect a heavy work load for Etienne again and for him to flirt with 100 once again.
Bonus Bet: Etienne 100+ yards (+200)
