Jets vs Seahawks Prediction & Prop of the Game- Geno’s Revenge

One of the marquee matchups of the weekend features two teams fighting for their playoff lives as the Jets travel across the country to Seattle to take on the Seahawks.

Both of these teams are 7-8 and must win this game to continue their push to secure the final Wild card spot in the AFC and NFC, as neither of these teams can win their division.

In a must win game for both teams with their season on the line, here is my analysis, my game prediction and the best player prop of the game.

Is Mike White the Jets’ White Knight?

Mike White is back for the Jets after not being medically cleared for the past 2 weeks to play with a Rib injury.

Zach Wilson filled in for White, but was benched in their most recent loss to the Jaguars last week on Thursday Night Football.

The Zach Wilson Era is over in New York and it is Mike White’s job to lose. Given how he was playing before he got hurt, Jets’ fans have something to definitely be excited about.

If he can lead the Jet’s to the playoffs or atleast play well enough to give them a chance to get there, you might be looking at QB1 for the Jets next year.

But let’s not run before we can crawl.

First task at hand is getting a big win in Seattle, one of the toughest stadiums to play in against a Seahawks team also in the Wild Card hunt.

Geno’s Revenge

I have already explained how much this game means to both teams, so the stakes are already high.

But Seahawks QB Geno Smith has some extra stake in this game.

Smith gets the chance to not only lift his team one step closer to a trip to the playoff dance, but in the process, he can bury his former team that gave up on him.

Sure, Geno. Sure.

This is the right thing to say, no doubt. But we all know the truth.

He has had this game circled. And rightfully so.

The NFL is full of narratives and this game has that and then some. The drama will be at an all time high in one of the most electric stadiums in the game on the first day of 2023.

It’s gonna be a good one so who is going to come out on top?

I can tell you with certainty that this game is going to be a doozie.

2023 will kick off with some amazing games and this will be one of them

With this game basically being a pick ‘em and it should very much come down to the wire, I am going to side with the home team and the points here.

The 12th man in Lumen Field is no joke and I think they show up on New Years Day to lift the Hawks to victory.

I will be taking the +1.5 for safety but the moneyline is a fine bet as well.
