The Kansas City Chiefs will be celebrating their 60th season in 2019, and they will be featured in prime time a total of five times. This very well could be the best season in Chiefs history as they are one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Kansas City suffered a devastating defeat to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game a season ago, and revenge will be on their minds throughout the season. The Chiefs feature two of the most exciting players in football in Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill, and they should score points in bunches this season.
Kansas City finished the 2018 regular season with a record of 12-4 to win the AFC West Division and earn the top overall seed in the American Football Conference. The Chiefs played in some of the most exciting games of the 2018 regular season, and the same should occur this season. Kansas City went 10-7-1 against the spread a season ago, and will likely be favored a ton this season.
Key Moves in Offseason
The Kansas City Chiefs made a pair of difficult offseason moves in releasing safety Eric Reed and linebacker Justin Houston. Both players had great careers with the Chiefs, but the team felt it was time to move on. Kansas City placed the franchise tag on Dee Ford to keep him on the roster and went out and signed Tyrann Mathieu in an effort to shore up their secondary.

Key Players
Patrick Mahomes: Mahomes set the league on fire in 2018 in what was just his second season in the NFL. The 2018 MVP threw for 50 touchdowns while throwing just 12 interceptions. Head coach Andy Reid loves to throw the ball, and Mahomes should get close to 50 touchdowns again this season.
Tyreek Hill: Tyreek Hill does a little bit of everything for the Kansas City Chiefs, but he is always dangerous with the ball in his hands. Hill had 87 catches for close to 1,500 yards a season ago and is one of the top deep threats in the league. Opposing teams will have to gameplan around slowing him down.
Damien Williams: With Kareem Hunt out of the fold in KC, Damien Williams will get every chance to earn the starting running back job. Williams had 50 carries for 251 yards a season ago but will need to be a workhorse for this team in 2019.
Rookies: Wide receiver Mecole Hardman and defensive tackle Khalen Saunders are probably going to see some significant playing time right off the bat for the Chiefs. Hardman is a speedy guy that can help in the return game, and Saunders has the ability to create pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Predictions to Season/Best Bets to Make
The Kansas City Chiefs should be set for another big season in 2019 as they return almost everyone from a 12-win team. Betting on the Chiefs to go over 10.5 wins is a smart bet to make, as this team should get to 12 wins again. Kansas City should also win the AFC West this season as they have the best roster. Betting on the Chiefs to win the AFC or the Super Bowl feels a bit risky at this time, especially since you aren’t getting great odds. Keep an eye on them as the season progresses and look for more value if you are wanting to make that bet.
