Justin Jefferson’s nine-catch, 150-yard performance went for nothing in Week 1 as the Vikings found themselves losing 20-17 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Meanwhile, the Eagles opened up the new campaign with a 25-20 win over the New England Patriots.

The Vikings are just 5-11 in their last 16 games against the Eagles while Philadelphia has won five straight matchups against NFC North opponents.

NFL Week 2 Odds — Sunday, Sept. 17

Raiders vs Bills Odds

The Raiders opened the season with a hard-fought 17-16 victory over the rival Denver Broncos. Las Vegas wideout Jakobi Meyers was the star of the show, hauling in nine catches for 81 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the Bills have yet to play their Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Jets at the time of writing.

Ravens vs Bengals Odds

The Ravens’ defense was dominant in Sunday’s 25-9 victory over the Texans, holding Houston to an uninspiring 3.7 yards per play. The win wasn’t without tragedy, though, as Baltimore lost starting RB JK Dobbins to a torn Achilles.

On the flip side, the Bengals hope to show signs of life following a 24-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns. The defeat was so bad that Cincinnati actually pulled QB Joe Burrow after completing only 14-of-31 passes for 82 yards.

Chiefs vs Jaguars Odds

The Super Bowl Champion Chiefs tasted defeat to begin the new schedule, falling 21-20 to the Detroit Lions on Thursday. A big part of Kansas City’s loss was the lack of star TE Travis Kelce, whose status is still up in the air before the NFL Week 2 slate begins.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars aim to capitalize on the momentum stemming from a 31-21 win over the Indianapolis Colts. WR Calvin Ridley didn’t let down in his Jacksonville debut, posting an 8-101-1 stat line while RB Travis Etienne racked up 77 yards and a TD on 18 carries.

Chargers vs Titans Odds

A touchdown in the final two minutes handed the Chargers a 36-34 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. The game wasn’t without bright spots, though, as Austin Ekeler electrified to the tune of 164 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 20 touches.

At the same time, the Titans couldn’t get much going in their 16-15 loss to the New Orleans Saints. QB Ryan Tannehill had a game to forget, finishing with a 28.8 passer rating after going 16-of-34 in the pocket for 198 yards with three interceptions.

Packers vs Falcons Odds

No Aaron Rodgers? No problem The Packers began their new era with a convincing 38-20 win over the Chicago Bears as QB Jordan Love silenced the doubters with 245 yards and a trio of TD passes.

The Falcons also head into the NFL Week 2 schedule with a pep in their step. Rookie rushing sensation Bijan Robinson’s 75-yard, two-touchdown performance played a massive role in Atlanta’s 24-10 win over the rival Carolina Panthers.

Seahawks vs Lions Odds

The Seahawks looked like they weren’t ready for the new season, opening with a 30-13 loss to the LA Rams. Even worse is that Seattle was held off the board completely in the second half, indicating the need for a stronger effort this weekend.

On the other side, the Lions are hungry for more success after their win against the Chiefs. It was a well-balanced effort for Detroit, highlighted by RB David Montgomery (21-74-1) and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (6-71-1) having productive nights.

Colts vs Texans Odds

Even though the Colts couldn’t get the win against the Jaguars, rookie QB Anthony Richardson looked like he belonged in the NFL. This year’s fourth-overall pick threw for 223 passing yards and a touchdown (with an INT) while also turning 10 carries into 40 yards and his first-ever TD.

The Texans, meanwhile, need a stronger performance than they had against the Ravens. Despite holding the ball for nearly half the game, Houston only averaged 3.7 yards per play while only converting on 38.9% of third downs.

Bears vs Buccaneers Odds

The Bears must show that they’re capable of a complete effort. Despite only trailing the Packers by four points at halftime, Chicago took its foot off the gas in the second half, resulting in it being outscored 28-14 in the final two frames.

At the same time, the Buccaneers proved a lot of doubters wrong by beating the Vikings. Baker Mayfield looked competent under center as he completed 61.8% of passes for 173 yards and a pair of TDs.

Giants vs Cardinals Odds

The Giants fanbase is already hitting the panic button following a 40-0 blowout loss to the rival Dallas Cowboys. New York only averaged 2.6 yards on 56 plays and only converted on five of 16 third downs (31.3%).

The Cardinals are also searching for their first victory after losing 20-16 to the Washington Commanders. What’s disappointing is that Arizona was actually up 16-10 heading into the fourth quarter but couldn’t keep things locked down.

49ers vs Rams Odds

The 49ers played like Super Bowl contenders in their 30-7 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Christian McCaffrey further proved why he’s the best running back in the league, recording 152 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries while WR Brandon Aiyuk also had 129 receiving yards and two TDs.

SoFi Stadium will be rocking after the Rams’ one-sided victory over the Seahawks. QB Matthew Stafford racked up 334 yards through the air while RB Kyren Williams found the end zone twice on 15 carries.

Jets vs Cowboys Odds

The Jets have yet to play their Monday Night Football matchup against the Buffalo Bills at the time of writing.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys looked flawless by shutting out the Giants on the road. Dallas’ defense held New York to just 171 total yards on 65 plays, also while racking up seven sacks, and three giveaways.

Commanders vs Broncos Odds

• Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
• Location: Empower Field at Mile High — Denver, CO

The Commanders hit the road after a comeback win against the Cardinals. It was mostly a defensive effort, though, as Washington turned the ball over three times and only converted on 4-of-12 third downs.

At the same time, the Broncos will give it their all to win the home opener after losing to the Raiders. Denver’s offense was absent for a good chunk of the game as Russell Wilson & Co. were held to just three points in the second half.

Dolphins vs Patriots Odds

• Record: Dolphins (1-0) vs. Patriots (0-1)
• Time: 8:20 p.m. ET
• Location: Gillette Stadium — Foxboro, MA
• Spread: Miami Dolphins -2 (-116) | New England Patriots +2 (-104)

The Dolphins hope Tua Tagovailoa can capitalize on his mind-blowing Week 1 performance. The former 2020 first-rounder torched the Chargers’ defense to the tune of 466 passing yards and three TDs (to one INT).

The Patriots play their second straight home game after last week’s loss to the Eagles. Starting with a 16-0 deficit was too much for New England to overcome even though Bill Belichick’s team kept Philadelphia out of the end zone for the final three quarters.

NFL Week 2 Odds — Monday, Sept. 18

Saints vs Panthers Odds

• Record: Saints (1-0) vs. Panthers (0-1)
• Time: 7:15 p.m. ET
• Location: Bank of America Stadium — Charlotte, NC
• Spread: New Orleans Saints -3 (-117) | Carolina Panthers +3 (-103)

Derek Carr’s addition to the Saints’ offense paid off as they picked up a 16-15 win over the Titans. Carr threw for over 300 yards and a touchdown, highlighted by wideouts Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed combining for 201 receiving yards with a TD on 13 catches.

There isn’t as much optimism surrounding the Panthers after their loss to the Falcons. Although the backfield was productive, Carolina’s passing game was as lethargic as can be with Bryce Young only completing 52.6% of his passes for 146 yards and two interceptions with one touchdown.

Browns vs Steelers Odds

The final NFL Week 2 matchup sees the Browns taking on the Steelers. Cleveland’s defense stole the show in its win over Cincinnati, holding the Bengals to just 142 total yards and a 13.3% third-down conversion rate.

At the same time, the Steelers were lifeless en route to defeat against the 49ers. Pittsburgh didn’t give its home fans much to cheer about outside of TE Pat Freiermuth’s second-quarter touchdown. Even then, Mike Tomlin’s squad was down 20-0 Freiermuth even found the end zone.
