Who doesn’t love a good deal?
Whether it be your favorite beer on sale at the grocery store or a discount on that pair of shoes you’ve been eyeing, we all love great value at a good price.
And lucky for you, BetOnline has some very tasty weekly specials for the NFL Week Five games. I don’t usually play these specials myself, but after looking through what they have to offer this week, there are some that are too good to pass up.
You can find all of them HERE
I am going to break down my favorites but a quick reminder before I do. If you play these, do so with the same expectation you do a parlay. Light units.
They are nice boosts and I think there are some that are excellent value. But they are plus money for a reason. I’m all about encouraging smart gambling, understanding value and controlling units. Have lots of fun but be smart.
Ok with that out of the way, let’s dive in.
There are four that I love and I ranked them:
Honorable Mention
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Let’s dive in…
HONORABLE MENTION: Jared Goff To Throw 2+ TDs & Aidan Hutchinson To Record A Sack (+300)
This one is nice considering that Goff has been one of the best QBs for TD passes so far this year with 11. He has hit 2+ in three of four games this year and I could see him having another successful week through the air.
My only concern and why this one didn’t collect silverware in my rankings is because Hutchinson has only gotten a sack in one game so far.
He did have three in that game and he has started his NFL career brightly so a sack isn’t out of the realm of possibility at all. But the Cowboys protect the QB well so it isn’t an ideal matchup. Worth a look but there are better plays.
Which brings me to…
BRONZE: Either Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Garrett Wilson Or Elijah Moore To Have 125+ Yards Receiving (+150)
I will admit I was concerned going into the season about Tyreek Hill and his possible drop off going to the Dolphins. Boy, was I wrong.
Mike McDaniel has figured out the perfect way to utilize Hill and Jaylen Waddle in big ways. Even without Tua in this one, Bridgewater is a very good backup, and possibly starts for other teams in the league.
I expect the Dolphins to do more of the same they have been doing, which should give Waddle, Hill or both the chance to eclipse 125 yards.
The Jets have been a surprise to some to start the year, especially with Joe Flacco leading the team the first three weeks.
With Zach Wilson back under center, this offense should keep rolling even more and Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore will have plenty of chances to get open and make plays. I am more confident in Hill or Waddle to get the 125 but one of these two could definitely pop too.
I love this boost. But not as much as…
SILVER: Deebo Samuel To Have 125+ Scrimmage Yards (+300)
I wrote about Deebo earlier this week and talked about how he is one of my favorite players in the league to watch and bet on. You can read that piece HERE.
He delivered on MNF with a vintage Deebo performance and I truly believe he will benefit from having Jimmy G quarterbacking the Niners going forward.
While he hasn’t gone over 125+ scrimmage yards yet this year, he got very close on Monday night and if that game didn’t get out hand late for the Rams, Deebo would have had more touches and cleared 125+ easily.
I’m a big Deebo guy and at +300, this is great value.
Ok, the moment you have been waiting for. My favorite play out of all of the BetOnline Weekly Specials
GOLD: Saquon Barkley & Aaron Jones To Each Have 100+ Scrimmage Yards (+300)
I absolutely love this play. I am surprised it is +300. Great value in my opinion for two of the top all-purpose backs this season.
Saquon has looked like 2018 Saquon so far this season, leading the league in All-Purpose yards and easily going over 100 All-purpose yards in every game.
I don’t doubt Saquon will get his touches on the ground and with how well Danny Dimes has been playing to start the season, Saquon should get his receiving yards as well.
On the other side, Aaron Jones has gone over 100+ all-purpose yards two times in four games. He is one of Aaron Rodgers most reliable targets out of the backfield and he will get plenty of opportunities, on the ground and through the air.
This will be a fun matchup to watch and I could very easily see both of these guys having big games.
Have fun with these Specials and happy betting!
