See Picks & Statistics For The GameAfter ten weeks of the NFL season, the Carolina Panthers and Las Vegas Raiders are the only two teams who have yet to record a road win.
Both teams are on the road in Week 11, but one team has a much better chance of ending their winless road run this week, if you compare Raiders vs Broncos odds and Panthers vs Ravens odds.
When they were last on the road, Carolina was roughed up in a 42-21 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9. But after a win over the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday, the Panthers will at least go into this matchup with another AFC North team on the positive foot.
That said, you will be hard pressed to find too many Panthers vs Ravens picks that favor the visitors, even if Baltimore has had a lot of close games this season.

Are the Ravens Going to Run Over, Around & Through the Panthers?
Just as Sunday’s Chiefs vs Chargers matchup features an interesting NFL scheduling quirk–the Bolts are playing in the SNF game in back-to-back weeks–this matchup features an interesting quirk as well, as the Ravens are facing an NFC South team for the third straight game.
While the margins of victory for their wins at Tampa Bay and New Orleans were different, there were a couple of notable similarities in the two games, as the Ravens scored 27 points, dominated time of possession, and were prolific on the ground in each game.
In their 27-22 win over the Buccaneers in Week 8, the Ravens ran for 231 yards on 33 carries, averaging exactly seven yards per carry.
And in their 27-13 win over the Saints in Week 9, the Ravens ran for 188 yards on 40 carries, an average of 4.7 yards per carry.
Since managing only 63 rushing yards against the Jets to open the season, the Ravens have run for at least 155 yards in each game. That hasn’t played out in a TOP advantage every time out, but in their three-game win streak, they have dominated proceedings.
Last Three Games for the Baltimore Ravens
- vs Cleveland Browns: 44 carries, 160 yards (3.6 yards per carry), 34:04 time of possession
- at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 33 carries, 231 yards (7.0 yards per carry), 38:23 TOP
- at New Orleans Saints: 40 carries, 188 yards (4.7 yards per carry), 37:47 TOP
If Carolina is to have a chance at all of spoiling many a Panthers vs Ravens prediction, they can’t find themselves in the same position that the Bucs and Saints did.
In their win over Atlanta last week, the Panthers didn’t allow the Falcons, who currently rank fourth in the NFL in rushing yards per game and eighth in yards per carry, to beat them on the ground.
The Falcons did average 5.5 yards per carry, but that was negated by the fact that they had only 25 carries. Instead, it was Carolina who dictated the game with the run, holding the ball for over 34 minutes thanks to a ground game that racked up 232 yards on 47 carries.
130 of those yards came from D’Onta Foreman on 31 carries, as he bounced back from a quiet day in Cincinnati to go for 100+ yards for the third time in four games.
Carolina Panthers vs Baltimore Ravens Prediction and Picks
Panthers vs Ravens Prediction: Ravens to win
Panthers vs Ravens Picks: Ravens 1st half team total over (Best Value: over 13.5 @ -115 at BetOnline) & Lamar Jackson total rushing yards over (Best Value: over 61.5 yards @ -115 at BetMGM)
My Panthers vs Ravens prediction is made with the highest confidence, as I don’t really see Carolina doing enough to keep Baltimore from another big game on the ground.
But the Ravens find themselves in far too many close games for my liking to pass that same confidence on to my picks.
Instead, I’m going to focus on the first half and then turn my attention to the props. There will be more player props available closer to gameday, but the one I like the most is already up.
In four home games this season, Jackson has 42 carries for 309 yards (7.4 yards per carry) and has logged at least nine carries in each game. If he has at least nine carries and reaches his season average in yards per carry (also 7.4), he’ll hit his number with a few yards to spare.
