See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe Las Vegas Raiders travel to Denver to take on the Broncos in a battle of two AFC’s biggest under performers.
Predicting a winner in this one you would think would be hard, but there is a definite side that I want to bet on. Let’s dive in.
The Raiders hit a new low last weekend, losing at home to a Colts team being led by first time interim Head Coach Jeff Saturday.
QB Derek Carr showed his visible frustration and sadness after the loss here.
The Raiders season is pretty much over half way through the season, and there are way more questions than answers in Las Vegas.
I don’t see this team packing it up though, and this week is truly a must win. If they lose to the Broncos, their season is absolutely finished.
Speaking of the Broncos, things aren’t much better in Denver.
The Russell Wilson experience is is just not going to plan, and the Broncos look discombobulated in all phases.
They are coming off a loss against the Titans where they struggled to move the ball on offense and also lost one of their offensive playmakers in Jerry Jeudy on the first play of the game.
The Broncos got good news on Jeudy, as he is listed as day-to-day and could return to this game depending on how he progresses this week.
This is the best possible outcome for the Broncos and it is worth monitoring Jeudy throughout the week to see if he practices and if he can play on Sunday.
Taking all of that into consideration and given that both of these teams are truly in desperation mode, what is the best bet in this game?

Prediction
I haven’t bet on the Broncos since week 1 and that isn’t going to change.
Watching both of these teams play, I love the Raiders in this spot, especially as 2.5 point underdogs.
The Broncos are just not a good football team, in all phases. I predict Derek Carr and Davante Adams are going to step up and have a huge game.
Give me the Raiders and the points.
I predict they win out right on the road and stay alive in the playoff hunt, even if it is still on life support.
Better than dead.
Best Bet
Raiders +2.5 (-110)
